Michael Scott is such a visionary teacher that he hired Kevin to be an accountant when he merely wanted a warehouse position. Had he not done that, Kevin might not have had the chance of creating a new number to make sense of accounts

The sad thing is you can see AJ finds Michael genuinely funny during his presentation, and you see it again in Company Picnic when he and Holly are giving their performance.

The scene with Michael and AJ is honestly so much worse than Scott's Tots IMO, at least the latter had a pretty foregone conclusion and was a more ridiculous situation, here even Pam has to realize in real-time what's about to happen

Pam unenthusiastically throwing candy on Michael’s cue will never not be funny to me.

Any of the idiots who write most of their comments bashing Pam can see how much she cares about Michael in this episode despite the stuff he says and does. I think she gave Michael the same hope Michael gave Jim at the end of this clip whether true or not. No wonder his final scene at the airport is between the two of them. Pam is the heart of this show no matter what the haters want to write!

The salespeople are who bring in revenue though. Unless they have some sales people who account for a disproportionate amount of sales and some who make almost no sales, letting sales people go will proportionally reduce revenue too and solve nothing.

Scranton probably handles Dunder Mifflin's biggest clients. Having more people in the payroll would likely result in redudancy, considering Michael's management style. "You don't need 20 strangers to manage one client. You just need one, or two, maybe three or five friends that anyone can trust with their paper needs."
