I think most if the essays there are very lengthy. Essays from AEON are quite common in CAT but they use only a particular part of any essay. So you can read for gaining for knowledge (Gk) as well

At this stage of preparation I would rather suggest newspaper and small aeon essays and ET ALSO coz now you're getting familiar with reading so give time to yourself and then at later stage read lenghty essays and try to comprehend

Those articles are really good when it comes to exposing yourself to diverse topics. But, I wouldn't recommend them at this stage if you're a beginner. Thank you so much :) Each B-school has their own interview form and its constituents differ. In all IIM interview forms, there's no way to mention the online courses/internships, you have to mention them during the interview. In other B-schools, there are some HR questions asked in the form, like "what are your strengths/weaknesses, why MBA, etc." You can include your co-curricular/internships as a part of answers to these questions.

You need to find out what logic are you using to mark the options correct/incorrect and then match the logic with the detailed solution. No guessing. No matter how much time it takes, find the right reason!

I'd personally not recommend them at this level. The reason they're recommended is because of their diverse nature. As a beginner, editorials are a must to get comfortable with 1200-1800 words. Once you feel you've got the knack of reading, then jumping onto diverse articles can be of help.

Starting off at the beginner level, editorials are recommended. Once you get comfortable with them, then you can try diverse topics as well.

Take up 2 sections a day if it's getting a lot. Also, this is the preparation stage, you can't expect to see results at this stage. Not being able to see the change may be one reason you feel like you did nothing. Count the efforts at this stage.

If your basics are already clear, you need to strengthen the concepts by working more on questions. You should also take mocks/sectionals to identify your weaker areas and work on them.

I understand, that's why recommended the paraphrasing technique for not forgetting what was there in the previous para. You should also not guess any answer and try understanding why a particular option is correct/incorrect and then matching your reasoning with that of the author.

I personally don't think so - I didn't real a single novel. The simple reason is the kind of editorials that come in the CAT exam are information/opinion based. Novels are genre specific and fantasy driven.

It's a little too early in my opinion. CAT preparation needs maximum 11-15 months. You don't need to pursue it rn unless you're very weak in a particular section. You can work on your profile at this time instead.

I understand, you need to make a schedule for yourself such that you bifurcate the syllabus into weekly targets. You will only be able to be consistent if you're serious about your goal and can see the weekly target.
