I really wish “I’m Fine” had gotten a parallel music video to “Save Me” because no only does it use a remix of that iconic opening synth, but the message of that song is, “I’ve relied on you too much and I need to save myself and I can do that, thank you for being there for me.”

Fun Fact: Save Me saved ME. It was the first music video I clicked on, in 2017, and threw me down the BTS rabbit hole while simultaneously pulling me out of the dark (and it was DARK) hole I'd been in. BTS had somehow taken over all my Recommended videos, despite having not been into kpop since I was a teen, and I caved and said "One video to prove they're like the rest." Turns out they were NOT like the rest, and the music resonated hard with me. Been an ARMY ever since. So this video is so nostalgic to me for many reasons, and it's just so incredible. The behind-the-scenes for it was super cool (and hilarious watching them all run behind the camera lol).

You are story is very similar to mine....wowww. The same thing happened to me with waste it on me. I heard I'm fine after that. At first, I thought, they might be like the rest but they were not. And I'm fine saved me when at the right moment. Too much was going on in life and it was the darkest period of my life but I'm fine saved me. And I'm fine is linked to save me...

Considering that 'Save Me' was shot on sandy soil when it was also windy, cold, with intermittent rain? I think BTS was pretty synced up, considering everything. In the behind-the-scenes video, you can see the redness on their ears and hands from the cold. I've always wondered what the wind chill factor was that day? Great reaction video, Jordon!

Yess save me no editing but still the best MV Our boys worked hard

I wanted to add to the message of the song. Yes, there is the message about like some kind of relationships, being it romantic or platonic, BTS is not that simple of group. They always said something like love yourself, be yourself, so I think in part this song is about also loving yourself. You know, when you don't love yourself you qickly falling down to the darkest and lowest places, so I think this song is mix of both: It's about times when you at your lowest and desperatly need a helping hand, someone who would love you and teach you how to love yourself, but also "you" as yourself, like I'm my own saviour, I talk to myslef and saying: I know it's you who can really save me, you need to love me as "I need to start loving myslef" something like this.

The camera movements are almost as mesmerizing as the boys themselves.

2:05 that's whyyyy there's I'm Fine. It's like Save Me is the start of a conversation or a request, answered by I'm Fine which says (RM's verse) "It's alright, I am my own salvation". This duo of songs also exemplifies the theme of Love Yourself.

Firstly, congratulations to you for being chosen by Hybe for their next project !! I just cannot imagine how difficult you had to decided to decline the said job offer. Bravo nervertheless... Secondly, i truely enjoy yr reaction videos esp yr dance therapy sessions... Borahea 💜

i'm PRETTY sure they're not saying that you have to be in a "romantic" relationship to be saved from your dark or negative thoughts, they're saying any meaningful relationship (friends, family etc.) can be really helpful when you're in a dark place:) their familiar voice or face can "snap" you out of those phases and their presence itself can make you want to be and do better (lovely message) that's the great things about BTS, though some of their songs like save me or spring day songs can be interpreted as "love song", peel back the layers and you can see that they mean SO MCUH MORE

Save me was a part of a series exploring feelings and thoughts of a person growing up, so it's not a message, it's an exploration.

Tbh, this is one of my favorite M/Vs because it shows you how impactful you can be with even the more simplistic methods. There's no flashy costuming or sets, just the dance and the camera footage to make it what it is.

Save me is one of my fav BTS songs. 💜 I'm new here and even though I don't really like reaction videos, that yours give me a lot of fun. 😁 I love your positive energy and watching "dance therapy" always cheers me up.👍🥰🔥You doing a great job. Thank you for that and keep going. I'm already waiting for more BTS videos. 😌

I love that we share the exact same thoughts. Something about this song just makes me feel so happy and yet bittersweet? Idk but it just never gets old no matter how many times I listen. I really hope for something like this again but I doubt we’ll get it. And also I feel like I and many other army’s have just grown up so much that things just don’t seem like sunshine and rainbows anymore. But idk. I just hope they don’t pull another “butter” or PTD. As much as I like those songs and they are fun, they will never compare to their other masterpieces.

I agree , their new songs are fun and cool but their old songs like brings out real emotions , you can feel and relate to those art piece that's how much i like them tho we do got film out (amazing but not a comeback so we are still missing new korean songs) and they had announced the comeback it seems it's going to be something amazing and i am excited , i hope it gives us that vibe like their old songs .
