These students don’t even know how a university financed work. The students tuition is just barely enough to cover part of the salaries of professors staff. But there’s much more than that. The donations are a different business entity and investments are another. Tuition doesn’t get mixed with that. These students think they are telling the president to do this and that with their tuition money. All their tuition money does is barely pay for professors and assts and assoc. there’s nothing they can do about another company’s money that keeps buildings and fountains and sports. That was never tuition money.

And little German babies were not Nazis. But that didn't stop their government from starting and waging a vicious bloodthirsty war that didn't come to an end until Germany was in ruin and nearly 4 million of their civilians were dead. You know, during World War II civilian deaths between America and Britain was 60,000. For Germany was nearly 3.8 MILLION. The were the British and the Americans wrong for doing what they had to do to win the war? To stop the civilian death the Nazi government could have surrendered at any time. But just like Hamas they didn't care about their own citizen. They only cared about their fanatical ideology.

@@cranberryjuice375I'm happy to talk about them but only if we go back to the very beginning. When Jews first tried to repatriate in 1850 and the sultan has to say no citing the deeply held antisemitic views of the people currently living in that area. Then let's jump to 1917 when the stateless lands were slated to be divided up, and they were given exactly 20% of the region that was Palestine. No one was upset that the Palestinians weren't getting their own independent homeland because no one assume that was even something they wanted had the skill set to manage given that their society was still very much in an agrarian/tenant farmer stage. The issue was not about a Palestinian state so much as it was about not having an independent Jewish homeland. The only Christians and Jews that were tolerated were Arab Christians and Arab Jews who were content to accept their place as second class citizens under Dhimmi. The minute the land was pledge to a Jewish homeland and the repatriation of the lands indigenous population began the result was 20 years of violence before the first Jewish retaliation. Since them most of the violence has come in the form of Palestinian aggression and Jewish response. Who revolted in 1929. Why rejected power sharing? Who revolted from 1936-1939. Who joined the German SS and made plans to build an Auschwitz type facility in their region? Who overthrew the government in iraq so his men could violently dispossess 150,000 Jews from their homes in Baghdad? Who laid siege to Jerusalem to try and starve their people out of the city? Who lied about Deir Yassin to get neighboring Arab countries to join the war accidentally scaring their own people so badly that they abandoned their own villages. Who declared war in 1948? Who spent years attacking towns near the border and trying to take out Israel water infrastructure fearing that it would give them a big economic advantage in the region? Who created a casus belli that led to war in 1967? Who broke the ceasefire during the war of attrition by maneuvering Soviet missiles into proximity of Israel? Who started the war in 1973? Who began not one but two violent intifadas, bombing restaurants, buses and marketplaces, the very events that led Israel to blockade the strip. Who took the pipes meant for repairs ri their water pipelines and carved them up for rockets. Nope things didn't begin on October 7th, it was another in a long line of arab aggression.

Students should be able to hold non violent protests that are not intrusive and not dangerous to other students / faculty members. These protests must not proohibit other students and teachers who don't join the protests from going about their regular work.

PLEASE READ TO PROTECT YOURSELF VS POLICE VIOLENCE !!! WHAT STUDENTS MUST DO IF THEY WERE UNLAWFULY ARRESTED! : 1 .Remain calm and polite. Do not physically resist arrest, as this could lead to additional charges 2. Assert your right to remain silent. Other than providing your name and basic identifying information, you have the right not to answer questions from police. Clearly state that you are invoking your right to remain silent. 3. Ask for a lawyer immediately. You have the right to legal counsel before answering questions. Do not say anything further to police until you have a lawyer present. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you. 4. Do not sign anything or consent to searches without a lawyer. Police may try to get you to waive your rights or consent to searches of your property. 5. Document everything. As soon as possible after release, write down all the details you can remember about your arrest - officer names and badge numbers, what was said, how you were treated, any injuries, etc.16 This contemporaneous record will be important for your defense. 6. f you have bruises or any fact of phisical violence from the police : Seek medical attention and document the wounds. If you sustained any injuries during your arrest, get them documented and treated by medical professionals right away and take photos of any visible injuries. 7. Contact a criminal defense lawyer experienced with student defense. Look for an attorney who understands the interplay between criminal charges and university disciplinary proceedings 8. Consider filing a formal complaint. If you believe your civil rights were violated, you can file a complaint with the police department's internal affairs division and/or civilian complaint board Your lawyer can advise you on this process. 9.Discuss your case with your lawyer before speaking publicly. While it is understandable to want to share your story, be very cautious about making public statements or posting on social media about your pending criminal case without your lawyer's guidanc P..s. 1. government entities, public universities are bound by the First Amendment, so students on public campuses have free speech rights to protest peacefully. 2.Students do not lose their right to free speech just by walking into school. They have the right to speak out, hand out flyers, wear expressive clothing, etc. as long as they don't disrupt the functioning of the schoo 3.Schools cannot punish students more harshly for missing class to protest because of the political nature of the action. 4.Colleges have an obligation to protect students' free speech rights.
