It's the artist mentality. It's really hard to just say "I'm done", and "that's good enough". They have a critical eye that forces them to nitpick every little detail most of the time. At least, that's how it is with me and my other artist friends. It's never good enough.

That entirely depends on the lore you're using. In DnD, wizards learn magic through books and sorcerers have magic through their ancestors

You always need the perfect images for works, good lightning and perspective, because if you wont get it, you need painting. This is why i prefer 3dsmax or Zbrush, maybe the free program Blender. Using 3d models, setup the good perspective and ligthning, reflection etc, and then put into the photoscene. We can modiofy it very fast for the other photos. Much better and faster results.

It would also be really cool if for the first photo you added him holding a dragons head. Just a cool idea that popped in my head and that I wanted to share. Love your amazing photoshop art and your imagination. :)

I actually really liked the last piece, Benny!! If I were to offer up a small opinion, however, it lacked that *spice* of glowing color that most of your other pieces have, which took away the element of Contrast. perhaps if the sword had glowed, or if you'd added a long unfurling red cloak, contrasted against the original gray sky... I think you would have liked it more ? I still think it's AMAZING though, thank you for this incredibly helpful and high-quality video, you always impress me.

I look at these edits (glow everywhere, particles, fantasy stuff...) like I look at chefs on TV : they always add a ton of fat, butter, cream, cheese and so on and you go "of course I can make anything taste good with this much calories in it!".
