How do you create that kind of cool looking text like the words “video editor” you made in photoshop? I tutorial on that would be amazing because so many people just use standard text options and I think that would really be a way to make edits unique. Love your content, keep up the good work!

I just used my mouse to draw out the words with the brush tool and saved it as as a PNG so it had a transparent background!

Once you master one editing program, the next one will be much easier. Even though the keystrokes may be different, the principles are all the same, even some of the strokes are the same across many programs! When I worked in Hollywood as an editor, I went through three different editing programs, the original final cup pro, avid, and Adobe premiere. Jumping into another program was a pretty quick process each time. I only recently learned CapCut, and it was a piece of cake.

I use Premier 95% of the time and use Camtasia for screen recordings and CapCut for effects that are nearly impossible to do in Premier. I open up after effects once in a while, but I’m not that great at it. The reason I use premiere is because it gives me a lot more control and I’ve been using it for about 10 years, so I’m really comfortable with it.

Hey Trevor. It is possible to auto link the audio like the media? For exemple a 10 minutes narrative audio will become 8-9 minutes , because of the multiple cuts on pauses , breath etc . we will have a lot of audio parts that must be placed next to each other. can this process be done automatically? I tried to select all the audio parts and combine them ( after delete all the pauses breath etc), but there are still those pauses . So have to do it manualy .

I don't quite understand the question. But there is a pro feature called remove filler words which will select all the pauses. It creates a list and cuts up the video. With one click, you can delete all the pauses it selects. It's not exact, but a good starting point. You can review and tweak before hittting delete. If this doesn't answer it maybe you can got to the email in my about section and send my a screen recording with Loom (its free) showing me what you're trying.

LOL! Funny you ask. It took me a LONG time to figure out what to put there! Added it last minute as there was not sound effect there at first. Its ES_Ratchet Clicks 1 - SFX Producer.mp3 from Epidemic sound. CapCut as a few sfx, but I get a ton from ES - share.epidemicsound.com/trevor. That's an affiliate link for a free trial. Totally worth it.

I’ve had people ask me, but I am no longer editing for other people. The last time I did that full-time was in Hollywood, several years ago, working on commercials for marvel and Disney movies. The last movie I worked on was Thor Ragnarok. That said having a KZread channel showcasing your work is a great way to get clients.

It's usually OK to use about 5 seconds of another persons video/movie clip/tv clip. I do it ALL THE TIME and have no issues if I keep the clips short. I have some videos on it. The same "rules" apply and I've never had any trouble from using another creators video clip in my video BUT KZread DOES notify creators if you use their content and that creator CAN request you take down the video. If you don't, it can be an issue. You can see who's used YOUR video clips in KZread studio if you click Copyright on the left side. I don't know how long a clip has to be for KZread to notify a creator you used their clip. Some of my videos have been used and KZread has notified me, but for almost all of them, the creator used my video for 100% of their video! If you keep the clips short, I'm guessing you'll be ok, but there is always a risk.

Feature availablity varies by country. Works here in the US on the desktop version. If you're on mobile, online, or in another country, it may not be available. Also, make sure you have the current version!

One layer at a time. I start with the voice track. Usually it's clean and doesn't require much. But CapCut has really good tools to clean up noisy audio. That alone is worth the Pro version. Then I add music as needed. I use less for tutorials because I find it distracting but use music a TON for my travel channel. CapCut has some, but it can have copyright issues on YT. So I get a lot of my music from Epidemic Sount, link in description. Then I add sfx. CapCut has a lot built in, but have an entire SFX library and get a lot from epidemic sound. Then I mix it all, making sure I can clearly hear the speaking and the other sounds aren't too distracting. SFX can be fun and challenging to find the right one, but I have some I use over and over. I also will speed them up or slow them down to make them work.

Hey Lucas! I was giving generic how I do it. And if something is noisy, I do take it to capcut for noise removal. But I edit most of my stuff in Premiere since I've been using it forever. For this video, and for most of them, I added compression in Premiere and used the Broadcast preset. Even tho it was just my wireless mic, it still sounded pretty ok with that effect added. But yes, mic placement and room accoustics are everything!@@Lukas_Schanderl

Valid! I always tell you guys like it is so: I have Editing Machine picking up most of my editing since I'm slammed right now, so THEY added it to what I did! But, to do it, just screen record you scrolling a screen - for like 10 seconds, speed it up, then add motion blur. Then cross your fingers because CapCut's motion blur is very hit and miss so far. Mostly miss. 😂

Two things: Location based, yes. Features vary by country. And: which capcut are you using: Desktop, Mobile or Online. All quite different.

Dang! Sorry man. Im sure its based on your location. I think you'd have to wipe every trace of CapCut from your computer, VPN to USA, redownload capcut, try using A NEW email to create a NEW account, STAY logged into the VPN, and see if the effects show up in the free version before switching to your PRO acocunt. Logging into the pro account might mess it up, becuase they already know where your created the account. Lemme know if this works!@@MoeOnTheTube

I wish I was out of the country to test my VPN theories. I THINK you need to COMPLETELY remove CapCut from your computer - all the traces even in hidden folders, then VPN to USA, download capcut free WITH A DIFFERENT EMAIL, KEEP THE VPN connected, open CapCut. See if it has what you're looking for. If it DOES you very likley would need to purchase pro again to get the pro effects. I wish I could test this myself! Please try what you can of this and let me know. I think the VPN company you use also may matter. I try to get to all comments but I miss some - so please email me what you find at trevor@mastercapcut.com. Good luck and thanks!
