Fantastic! Haven't been able to take a trip yet, but great to see the extension finished.

Very nice view. Nice to see the tram extension to Newhaven completed and is now in service.

Edinburgh should open the Suburban line to passenger trains.

Did I see right? Did a car go through a red light when you were stopped at the lights after you passed ocean terminal? Who were those brolly holding people earlier on too?

There`s a filter lane for cars and the red light is for trams only

Why all the bell ringing ? Must be annoying for the driver ! 😮

Why do they switch people every stop to run the train it dont look that far between stops

So here we have a modern tram running at a mere 20 mph along the whole route ! This just shows the complete barminess of the blanket 20 mph over the whole of Edinburgh. Even the old Edinburgh trams did better than this ! When will common sense prevail !

in general lower speeds are a great thing for a city as traffic tends to flow smoother and less serious accidents occur. Whether there should be exceptions for trams in certain areas idk

This is a very walkable neighborhood now. Speed is danger inside urban districts and will kill the livelihood of a city. A reliable and frequent tram will provide the connection that citizens need to leave their cars at bay so that everybody gets a win-win.
