Hi, great review! Can I ask you, does the main speaker play in stereo on its own if you dont have the space for the two speakers? In a kitchen for example.

Hi, thanks for the comment! I haven’t tested the presonus Eris 3.5’s so can’t compare them to the R1700BT’s. I can definitely vouch for these speakers and I can’t imagine you’d be disappointed if you went for them! Looks like similar price compare if you want the Eris 3.5’s with Bluetooth as well. Sorry I can’t give you a better answer mate👍🏻

In person, do you hear any difference between a physical connection and a Bluetooth connection?

Thanks for the comment - I couldn't tell a difference at all - also tested playing via Spotify on the laptop via AUX and also my phone :)

Would these be good for a TV when watching movies? Such as vocals being clear?

Yes they would be good for watching movies for sure. Massive improvement compared to normal TV speakers

Like the other use has kindly mentioned the R1700BTs model has a sub out. Plus the BTs model has Bluetooth 5.0 whereas the BT uses 4.0 version. There is only £20 difference in price too! 😃

@@jimbo4203 Definitely, these are a perfect step up from wireless speakers , the Charge 5 is good but these are a massive improvement in quality and loudness

No, I use spotify which has the EQ built in
