I own these speakers they are gr8. Can you please help to suggest optimal bass and treble setting for these?

How are these compared to the r1700bt?

I am listening to the sound test on my R128DB. They good speakers at a good price. I found that the mid frequency sounds less muddy when you use the optical input rather then the HDMI sound input when watching movies on your PC.

did you adjust the bass and treble on this sound test?

The Edifier website says this can connect to a subwoofer using a Y splitter. Have you done anything like that? I really really need more bass. Thanks

I dont have the r1280t so I cant say much or recommend it. But for the price of r1280db... Its good.

Which one should i Buy the R1280T or R1280Ts and R1280DB i'm confused.

These reviews always fail to play music that is bass heavy, what do you expect. They will sound better at home with the right settings and music played. For this "clarity" music, you may aswell buy logistics if this all people like. These edifiers have frequency Resonance as low as 51hz decent for bass and a good decibal rating of 85, so should sound pretty clear without any noticeable distortion. From all the research I did these have great features, aesthetics and seem to work. Reason I say that is I was going to buy the Samsyun 206 they "claim" to hit 20hz bass. But the amount of people online saying they are having faults put me off and the sound reviews also put me off. Of course reviews are relative to set up and music type but just by what I could watch and hear from online music comparisons it was a nail in the coffin for the Sansyun 206. They do have a switch to change between monitor and hiring mode so who knows whether that was missed(not likely) people reporting bluetooth issues with them and soem just not switching on anymore. My R1280DBs should arrive tomorrow I'll put some drum and bass through them at different settings. I only use wav files and full spectrum graph so will be a decent test.
