I've been hunting for someone who shows sweet ME3 gameplay. I started posting some goofy ME3 commentary with friends lately, nothing as skilled as this, more just for fun stuff. But it is still nice to learn from someone who knows how to post great ME content. :)

You're so right about Rio, I only noticed it recently when as soon as the game started everyone started running to that corner even though we were all randoms and no-one used a mic! All I could do was go and stand on the other side and when I was lucky someone would join me just to balance the game a bit.

One more example: Can you remember the Phase Disruptor buff? This buff was definitely not asked for by elite players. Quite the opposite: Most of them think that the buff is completely unnecessary. However, Bioware based their desicion to buff PD on the fact that most casual players didn't use the Slayer, even though most elite players already thought it was an excellent character.

You know it was amusing. You go and mention 'Yeah i'm thinking I should not release the Talon video just yet I hear there will be a balance change on Tuesday' and I go 'Oh, it's Tuesday, let's look at that' and suddenly ALL THE CHANGES

For those who don't know, the day the DLC was released there were cries from some of the "elite" posters on the BSN for the Alliance Infiltrator Unit to be nerfed. The Day of the Release. They didn't even wait a couple of days for the European gamers to get the DLC before they started bitching about her. And they posted posts about her EVERY DAY, these "elite" super-players who are famous and worshipped on the BSN. And BioWare responded by saying they intended a major nerf on Repair Matrix.

The recharge time that it says on the power menu only applies if you stay in cloak for the full duration. His infiltrators arent bugged.

Yes the dlc is free and u can play as vorcha, awakened collector, Edi (Alliance infiltrator unit), batarians and other races.

gustavo..when u play as infiltrators u always cloak before using a power. so u only have to wait for cloaks recharge, not other powers that take longer. also the heavier weapons dont affect cloak like other cooldowns. btw invader I think your plays are the best and most realistic builds and styles for most of us. good job and thanks for still playing cuz a lot of us are still in mp as well.

do you still get shotgun bonus when you use snapfreeze while cloaked

i Dont understand why anything should be nerfed in a co-op game..?

I find it easier in general to reload cancel with characters that rely on using powers to compliment their weapon damage like infiltrators, because you get into the habit for spamming cloak as quickly as possible and by the time you have to reload the cool down already ended for the cloak. I also find the juggernaut one of the easiest to reload cancel cause you can push the sprint button and it doesn't do anything to mess his flow up since he can't sprint.

a 10 second cool down on snap freeze? is that even worth it when the debuff lasts 6 seconds and you can't even reclock in that time? (the slow and chill lasts that long so I figure the armor weakening lasts that long)

this was the main character from the DLC i wanted, still no luck but today I maxed out my claymore (which i had no idea i had since i typically favor heavy power builds like the valkyrie) and I also got the N7 Shadow, would the claymore be ok on the shadow

Just FYI. If you're playing off-host and break cloak with Snap freeze then 25% bonus to shotgun damage doesn't apply. On-host everything is OK.

Ok so Ive been off ME3 MP for quite awhile and started playing again got all the dlcs and I find that its very difficult to find matches. I assume this footage was from PC and I play Xbox so I know it would be different. I dont think Xbox has the Platinum difficulty and if it does is there something I am missing?

I seem to be able to do gold ok (as long as I have a good ish team) but I tried platinum and I couldn't even get past wave 3, are there any tricks to it? Also the engineer sucks for me, his trip mine is epic but other than that, he's just too flimsy. Might be the way I play him though. Great vid

If you cloak and use Snap Freeze, then right after that shoot your gun, do you still get the bonuses, even without Bonus Power on Tactical Cloak 6?

This is exactly how I play w her and I love it. So fun and so powerful.

for her i went 6/6/6/44 for repair matrix i went survivability, duration and lasting repair matrix and damage and capacity in the passives but i might try this if i get a couple of resets

What's the best pack to buy for Ultra Rares? I've maxed out everything except for URs and Collectables. I heard Reserve packs are best, but I've had little luck with it. With Arsenal packs, I'm getting URs at a rate of about 18%.

Invader will you do a tutorial on Platinum Collectors. This weekends bioware op has me very frusterated. I have gotten platinum done against every faction except collectors on platinum. I can play them on gold no problem but for some reason on platinum they are just too much and I don't play with bad people and I don't think I am that bad either and we play platinum often against reapers, geth and cerberus.

Me and my friend are severely confused, how do you get Cyclonic Modulator IV or ammo at that level? Neither me nor him have gotten any equipment at level IV

Repair matrix took some pretty big hits and so did her melee. Still very good.

Melee build is basically maxing out fitness thats the only difference, and well of course when you get to rank 4+ going for the melee damage skills

I really hate Rio platinum farming. Random random platinum always results in rio reaper farm fest. I'm glad you said it man.

for repair matrix you should have choose the "undead" ability.. it basically revive herself with full hp once killed.. I use it to to unlock dog of war banner as you can basically activate it before rushing towards a group of enemies to spam melee, and you just revived right after being defeated without consuming any medi gel. XD

It's the only one I have trouble with the spawn points. Also would love you do a video of just playing your fab build/character

She's the most fun I have had with an infiltrator since the Huntress.

i think a fun run you should try out is a team of volus and you as a slayer. with the new phase disruptor you can spam it all game with the volus on ur side

It took me awhile to get used to her but now I love her. I just wish my claymore was at a higher level.

The only shotgun you need is the reager. While you have to be within range, for some reason that gun goes OP with her.

The only thing I don't like about EDI is Snap Freeze bug. I used Incendiary Ammo thinking that they propably fixed the power, but nope, Fire Explosions are still bugged. Pity.

Do you really think so? Bioware has given us a playable Collector, the Femshep BotB banner, Turians who can dodge, a Krogan with health-regen etc. Those were all asked for by large groups, not only "elite" players. Some of those "elite" players even opposed the idea of a Femshep banner. I'm sure Bioware doesn't prefer a small elite portion of the player base (that wouldn't even make sense from an economic point of view) and that they have their reasons for balance changes.

Make sure you have all your gold weapons maxed out. Then open spec packs or premium spec packs. I find it easier to open spec packs to get lv 4 equipment.

I've tried this with pugs it didn't go well either. The problem is mostly I end up pugging with people who are really good at silver and get their butts kicked on platinum and I am only okay at platinum but I mostly play gold.

Sure, and like I told the other guy, it wasn't as if Casual players like me were on BSN crying about how the Slayer wasn't good enough. BioWares own metrics is what made them buff the Slayer, not casual player complaints. Like I said, if they want to do something come hell or high water they'll do it. I'm talking about as far as them being ABLE to be influenced at all, it seems it comes from certain people - people who post constantly at the BSN.

im not hating on the claymore, but if you equipped the crusader instead, you could fire off two bullets in tac cloak instead of your one using the claymore

Everyone talking about the nerf but reality its not even that noticeable, here you see he has capacity over duration and now with nerf the duration would be the same as what is used now. So if anything they just lowered her capacity count.

What packs do you recommend for ultra rare weapons? Arsenal or Premium?

I think the Reeger Carabine is over powered. What do you think ?

I really wish the videos were made more visible to the public. Would be awesome if when you logged onto multiplayer, there would be links for helpful youtube videos in the screen before you search for a lobby. AH well one can dream

If you are fine with a bit of camping, do it on Firebase Giant or Firebase Reactor. For Firebase Giant, have everyone camp the extraction and for Firebase Reactor go through the Reactor and hold down the area on the other side. Two people watching the Reactor and two people watching the two walkways.

Well I never said the devs base ALL their updates on the elites. Certainly if devs have something in mind they'll do it no matter what. What I'm saying is that where they can be influenced, they're influenced by certain groups. The AIU is just one example of what I noticed by actually being on the BSN. It could be just a big coincidence that before the Euros got a chance to play the AIU, certain peeps wanted her nerfed and she's getting nerfed. Could be, but I've seen too much so I doubt it.

Are there any current methods for credit farming for noobs? Im a casual player and have a few level 3-5 gold weps.

Never skip snap freeze because it becomes useful in certain situations.

Bioware doesn't look at things people call out. Those are a minority when doing balance changes. What they do is take a look at the outputted numbers. How much damage is this doing? How many of this type of characters are in winning high-difficulty matches that do really well? Win percentage? Loss percentage? These numbers are what nerfs and buffs get based off of. Community is a much smaller influence than you think.

Duration is amazing on the Repair Matrix. Makes you pretty much invulnerable.

I never got the whole nerf her thing. I thought the Geth Juggy is a bit OP until I took him on platinum. Other than that the sex bot is perfect.

how could u handle the grenade ammo since all 4 of u needed ?

I would love to play as EDI but i have no luck and i can not unlock her, any tips? i only have 6 more chars to unlock and she is one. is there an easy way to get her???

Because some people are competitive for first place getting the most points and edi was super over powered before the nerf and usually got 1st place. Getting her was also about luck though since shes kinda hard to unlock so some people complained and whined to bioware about how shes kinda hard to unlock and does so much damage so they nerfed her.

The AIU has a confirmed nerf coming to Repair Matrix.

After the nerf: she is still a good character but 8 sec (or 12) repair matrix is really not enough for her powers to work and even more important, to have fun.

I'm sure that after a lot of data they make changes on their own. For example after releasing a new kit for a few weeks they'll look at the data and if everyone's owning everything with the GI, they'll change it to balance it. That makes sense. The AIU has been out barely a week in some areas of the world. A new kit, sexy, popular... of course it'd be used a lot. What other reasons would they have to nerf it except for the BSN? Not the only example too. Anyway, whatever. What's done is done.

on one side we have OP stuff like this and the juggernaut and on the hand hand we have the talon who takes skill and expertise even on bronze

Yeah, right. Still making gold very easy and still easy/good for platinum. Though it's a little annoying to run from ammo box to ammo box, because the repair matrix lasts quite short now :/

Also...going from these new characters back to the oldest ones....wow. Takes a few rounds to realize you can't do the same things you can do with the other ones.

I kinda want the venom shotgun and the spitfire, I think I would go perfect for the destroyer.

Yeah I tried that on giant with pugs it didn't work out too well which is why I am asking. So many people are simply afraid of the Collectors. I am hoping that maybe he has some solid advice for taking down pretorians faster really because for me they are the main problem. If I could get some of my buddies to do it it would be a breeze we took 3 edi bots and a geth juggy day one and made Reapers into a joke.

I had the same problem, I couldnt get her or the Juggernaut, I know this sounds a little obvious but in the end I just kept buying reserves packs over any other type of pack and after about 8-10 of them I got them both in one pack.

What's the big deal with the Repair Matrix nerf anyway? You can completely skip out of RM and she would be still absolutely amazing. I've been asking for a real shotgun Infiltrator since I started playing this game. Plus she has Snap Freeze, the most broken primer ever. To be clear, I'm not supporting or opposing a RM nerf, I just think she's a great character either way.

So I'm basically tell you both of you are wrong. The community is what Bioware uses to direct themselves towards a problem. If the numbers ALSO shoe that there is a problem, balance changes are made. Changes are not made on a whim. There is always a reason, and those reasons are found in the stats of each character, such as win percentage, score differences, damage output, times downed, average life time, etc. If you think that Bioware (or any company) nerfs because people say so, you're mislead

Unfortunately I heard on the BSN that they intend to nerf the shit out of Repair Matrix. I haven't unlocked her yet and at the rate I'm going I probably wont unlock her until after the nerf.... so no Platinum Training with her for me. :(

Try taking a GI and three Geth Trooper Flamer/Acolyte builds. Or two GI's and two Geth Troopers. The Geth Trooper is really nice to have for the bosses and the GI is great for everything. If you want to be a bit tankier, remove one of those characters and replace it with a Geth Juggernaut. It's still a wise choice to take the GI though between TC, Proxy Mine and being a great character in general.

Through Invaderone's videos he explains a little bit about spawning. There are certain locations on each map where enemies will spawn and your teammates and your locations on the map do dictate which they spawn in. Experience is what teaches you where each are located.

Invaderone people on Rio that camp in that box r scared to even do anything trying to do the challenge this weekend was a nightmare so I feel u man I can play platinum with randoms and right equipment but usually play gold.

a campy team is juggy, geth pyro, Aiu and krogan warlord on giant at spawn point. let the juggy get circled and just power spam and shoot the enemies only use one rocket a round only when 4 bosses surround juggy and aiu will be part medic but really she is damage pyro is on crowd control and for setting up tech combos for AIU. Warlord he is a boss killer

I would love to stop hiding in the box but everyone just runs to the box in the beginning + no1 has mics and even if they do they never talk
