It's a shame your country has sold its soul to big government.....as a "yank" I can't fathom the police harassing me over a bb gun....what a joke! You all need to get your rites back, I wish your wonderful country the best, I really do! Great videos!!! I found them most informative!! What would you recommend for shooting 2 ft tall, and up to 40 pound monkeys???? In a air rifle!

I love my Leshiy 1.. There is no where for me to fill a tank. So I use a Air Venturi hand pump. It takes less than 2 strokes per pellet. That is at over 900 ftps, and a 14.3 gr 22 cal pellet. I get over 20 shots between 230 and 130 bar... It will stack pellets at 10 yards. I love my Leshiy, , Bugs and Roger? Not so much? I hope to be getting my Leshiy 2 soon...

Having own one, let me name a few cons from personal experience 1) magazine index problem which requires laborious maintenance to keep it working 2) pellets shearing at the skirt when the pellet transfers from magazine to throat which causes the above problem 3) excessive blowby between magazine/port/barrel resulting in loss of efficiency and problem 2. 4) slow magazine change 5) 1st shot high fps (reg creep?) 6) hammerless design resulting in lack of clean trigger break, feels mushy.

Nice review, Andy! I share your enthusiasm and awe for the Leshiy 2! Just received mine yesterday here in the US, read the manual today, pellets arriving day after tomorrow. In my first 24 hours with the Leshiy 2, all I can say is ... WOW, stunning, brilliant, genius, very impressed! Based on your glowing previous review and recommendation of Francisco in Barcelona, I decided to purchase my Leshiy 2 from him, and very happy I did! I pre-ordered from Francisco in mid August, paid in full at end of September, and received my Leshiy 2 from him just 3 weeks later. Francisco has been great to deal with, friendly, personable, professional, competent, honest, responsive, knowledgeable, super helpful, excellent customer service, with a well laid out and organized, functional website. With the 350mm barrel, Ed shoots 30mm (1.2”) groups at 50 meters and 50mm (2”) groups at 100 meters. Obviously not expecting mine to be quite that tight with my 250mm barrel, but I like the compact size, folded up, fits in my daypack/backpack, so plan to stick with the 250mm barrel for 50 meters range, no need to exceed that for me. Btw, love Ed’s videos! Based on Ed’s ballistics numbers, with my .25-caliber 250mm barrel, shooting 34gr pellets, regulator set at 130 bar, I’m expecting (at the muzzle) around 730 fps, 35 ft-lbs, .052 bc. Thanks Andy for the steer to Francisco!

Hi, Charles, I have chosen the same configuration 250 mm, 25’ cal, I’m very interested what pellets works with this configuración, my first choice would be The Hades.... but please can you give some advice about you experience. Many thanks.

Hi Patricia, I am using the JSB Exact King Heavy MKII .25 cal, 34gr pellet, which has a ballistic coefficient of 0.052. With my .25 cal, 250mm Leshiy 2 in stock configuration, regulator set at 130 bar, shooting over a ProChrono DLX, I am seeing an average velocity of 738 fps, standard deviation of 8 fps, 41 foot-pounds of energy, over a 24 shot count. After 24 shots, it drops off the reg. (That’s from a full 300 bar fill down to 130 bar.) I bought the pellets from Francisco, together with the Leshiy 2. I can’t yet attest to accuracy (groupings at 25 meters, 50 meters, etc.) from personal experience, as I’m still waiting to receive the optics I’ve ordered. (If only my optics suppliers were as quick as Francisco was in shipping the Leshiy 2 to me! ...) But from what I’ve read of others’ experiences, this particular pellet (the JSB Exact King Heavy MKII .25 cal, 34gr) has very good accuracy in the Leshiy 2, out to 50 meters in the 250mm barrel, and out to 100 meters in the 350mm barrel. And again, as I previously mentioned above, from watching some of Ed’s (the Leshiy 2 creator/designer/manufacturer) velocity-clocking videos, he was shooting 30mm groups at 50 meters and 50mm groups at 100 meters with this same pellet (the JSB Exact King Heavy MKII .25 cal, 34gr) in a .25 cal, 350mm Leshiy 2.

Patricia, I’m in a similar situation, on a steep learning curve. This is actually my first airgun. One resource I recently discovered that I find very helpful, which I could recommend to you, is the Airgun Nation forums (airgunnation dot com), where you can find a wealth of great technical information and advice on the Leshiy 2. You can read the forums without subscribing, but in order to search the forums, you have to join as a member. I went back and read a couple months worth of posts on the Leshiy 2. The Leshiy 2 creator/designer/manufacturer, Ed himself, regularly chimes in on threads. You will find discussion threads on the Leshiy 2 in the “PCP Airgun” forums, most of them in “PCP Airgun - Discussion”, and a lesser number in “PCP Airgun - Tuning & Repair”.

Without an FAC the short barrel version is ideal for a spot of ratting if you have to walk any distance, it would easily fit in any backpack. Sadly the cost is the problem, it makes me want to carry it in the most protective case imaginable and only use it at a nice clean, dry range and that puts me off.

@@darrenbullman9450 they are completely different guns. The FX Impact is a more precision shooter. The Leshly is accurate but not as near accurate as the Impact. The Impact obviously has a more superior trigger, and the gun is a lot more tunable. I like my Leshly 2 a lot. It is fun to shoot, has a lot of power, but not a competition airgun either. Morning Andy, sig had to modify the trigger on their Virtus after conversations with the home office about what constituted as semi auto/self indexing, they also dropped the power to 10ftlbs. It would appear the magazine on the leshly two is quite similar in function to the Virtus (i.e. doesn't load a pellet into a breech). Do you think there may be issues with owning this rifle in future if the home office catch wind of it?

It's perfectly legal as it fires directly from the magazine and does not load into and fire from barrel. That's all you need to know .Have fun 👍

I would love to know what Andy, viewers think would be the best calibre to buy this in for pest control? Most reviews seem to be of the .25 but have only shot with .177 / .22 before and was wondering which version to pre-order if I decide to go for it and shell out for one. I also notice .20 is available and thought that may be best of both for this as it falls somewhere between a rifle and pistol.

There is market for this type of airguns, for me at this stage, is to much expensive, so let's wait for the answer from brands like FX aiguns or even Daystate as I think others are still to much conservative to go this road.
