Shawn Arthur he played the character really well... he was so good, i hated him 😂 at the end it was hard to tell if he was been face or heel, he was always so opportunistic.

@@CarimboHanky as to the opportunistic nature of his character, that seems to be more of an "every face in WWE" problem. Since Austin, face turn DX, face Rock, etc. They saw the popularity of antiheroes and that's all they write these days.

Edge is one of my all time faves. One of the few guys who, even though I absolutely loved him, I had a hell of a lot of fun booing the shit out of him when he was a heel. (Except when Rated RKO was feuding with DX, I was always on Edge's and Orton's side. Good times, great feud.)

I don't know he looked pretty fucking old at the Royal rumble. he's in great shape but if you look at pictures of him from the rumble compared to 10 years ago he definitely looks his age in the face

Edge was always an opportunistic wrestler, he played into the heel really well, and when it was time to play the face, he did it incredible as well I guess you could say that was his Edge.

I always thought he broke his neck... Good to hear it was only a KO and some pinched nerves.

I remember that match. I thought it was a gimmick because of the fact that he was built up as this tough loner on the streets. So I figured "Okay, he's got this Sid type of thing where everyone is injured post-match."

I miss him so much in the ring...my all time favorite, but so happy he is doing fine, is healthy and is enjoying life! I hope we will have him as a GM or something back at least one day!

Remember when i first saw Edge in WWF . It was in Hamilton , Ontario Canada (Where i live ) at the Copps Coliseum and he was wrestling under the name Sexton Hardcastle entering to Pantera's Walk song and doing the running man to . Forget who he faced but i'm sure that he lost .This was back in 1996 . 1997 they brought in former football player Glen Gulka and he was becoming a wrestler and the had him and Edge doing house shows with Gulka winning them . Also remember 1 time where Edge faced Christian on a house with Edge under the Sexton Hardcastle name and Christian going as Christian Cage and they put on a pretty good match . Then as we all know they went to be superstars Edge And Christian winning multiple Tag Team Titles as a team . Edge winning thev Interconinental ,WWE and World Heavyweight Titles as did Christian becoming Light Heavyweight , European , Intercontinental ,ECW (WWE Version) and World Heavyweight Champion . 2 guys that made their mark in WWF/E .

I'm sure I'm in the minority of those who don't know that Estrada didn't get seriously hurt but I'd have enjoyed the video more if he'd done the whole. "In case you don't know the story I land on Estrada and he pinched a nerve in his neck or was knocked out nothing serious" at the start
