What can you say other than Frankie Edgar. Dude got heart and will power. Great trilogy.

To this day I'm heavily offended that people don't mention Frankie Edgar when they talk about the goats of the sport.. these fights alone I think shouldve cemented his place in the sport

For sure. I miss those days even though back then it was so much harder to find ufc content online (for free at least)

one of the best trilogies in the history of mma the outstanding amount of punishement edgar took in the énd fight was out of this world and even when he got dropped 4 or 5 times, he still managed to take gray into a draw and finish him in the 3rd fight what an absolute legend 🙌

Yes to all of these and if I can add more of Diego Sanchez's early "nightmare" fights

I consider this to be the most entertaining trilogy (Liddel vs Couture being the most iconic) Both have great wrestling with Frankie having footwork and cardio while Gray having strength and power. 2nd and 3rd fight were fight of the year contenders.

Tbh I wasn't a frankie Edgar fan back then because of the absolute robbery in the first bj Penn fight and the second Gray fight but what a warrior. Super skilled and the definition of a pound for pound great. Dude could probably fight flyweight and yet he was one of the best lightweights of all time.
