Reason why hard landing is good (not better): when the opponent has shield gear on, you can instantly get rid of the shield and apply all your damage on them directly, if they dont have it, then its a win to get a chunk off them so you have less time to kill Edit: hard landing is also good for checking your surroundings in bushes, so in my opinion, it is more versatile

Hard landing is better because with let's fly you're jumping more so you're using it more, and when using hypercharhe the amount of jumps is also super high so you get the most value with hard landing. In all Bush maps I would play fisticuffs and hard-core for survivability in a point blank 1v1

@ButterySmoothBoom I've had a bit of a change of heart I find fisticuffs to still be better in most situations, although hard-core is typically better on most maps. You should pop hard-core after 3 ammo tho so that the healing still takes effect and you get more value.

I’ve always liked Edgar and don’t get me wrong I love how good he is now but I also hope that balancing and buffing a brawler won’t rely on Hypercharges so much, like there are other ways to make a brawler better than just adding a hypercharge to them and calling it a day, just my opinion though

@@BrenYT tbh I find myself more comfortable with the shield gear instead of the recharge gear. 10% usually doesn't make much difference to me, but those 900 extra HP saved me plenty of times. If you combine it with let's fly or an already charged super you get roughly 14% more health ready for whenever you want to jump on an enemy.

if you truly want to, then sure. but that few seconds can really make a difference whether you need to run away or charge a super in clutch situations

Fr, you only need 5K coins to get a brawler to level 9+star power (excluding gadget and gear), but about 14K for level 11 and hypercharge (excluding gear/gadget too)

And the worst part is that those crybabies make everyone who plays him look bad. I used to play him even before the purple advent, and imho he's the kind of brawler that rewards good positioning, timing and punishing the enemy

@BrenYT besides his range is non existent. And his playstyle is annoying and tedious. You just have to camp in a Bush for 30 seconds. Jump on your enemies. Hope to god that nothing goes wrong and maybe survive. He's still very bad imo.
