so the DLC Spark Lance is basically a short-range Thunder Bow from 4.1 but with more per-projectile damage and less range

53K DPS on that Rapier Supernova?! That sounds completely insane, that's over 4 times as much DPS as the Master Rapiers from 2025! Even the lower level one you mentioned does like 2x as much as those though, is the HP levels of things working differently in EDF 5, is it accurate to make direct comparisons?

also geez the DLC Idunn has the range of a Thunder Bow from 4.1 almost...thats good! the main diff between Idunns and Thunder Bows in 4.1 was the range and firing patterns, the Idunns shot a steady stream of single shots at higher per-projectile damage but significantly less range and not as much crowd-control since the Thunder Bows shot a large number of weaker projectiles in a large fan-shaped spread but it was great for keeping enemies at bay in large numbers and the damage was enough to be decent

Oh man, I never used the new Geist because I hated the old Geist.... the new one just seems fricken stupid. Maybe it's intended to be used against tadpoles?

I want to get in the series should I get 4.1 or wait for 5?

Hmm that is tough, maybe since EDF 5 is coming out in December, buy 4.1 to play for a few months since it is cheap now. But if you were just to pick 1, I think 5 is the better game in a lot of ways.

Did you like the laser chainsaw Kevin? 4.1?

Ashen Phoenix it might be my favorite wing diver weapon for the hard difficulty in 4.1. I wish there was a higher level version.
