Eddyline Caribbean 12FS Walkthrough

Спорт

The Eddyline Caribbean 12FS is a comfortable and lightweight option compared to poly sit on tops. We take you through some of the key features and unique elements of this design.
The C12FS is totally capable of being outfitted for fishing with its dual track mounts, flush mount surfaces and tank wells yet it still offers a true paddling experience with Eddyline’s focus on glide and tracking.

Very nice review. I am a newbie to kayaking and have a bad back. I bought this exact kayak (same color scheme) yesterday as I wanted a high quality, lightweight sit on top with framed seat. On my brief demo I found this kayak to be very stable. I hope it goes through the water as efficiently as I had expected when buying it. Key question on the weight: is the 45 pounds with or without the frame seat. Thanks.

New to kayaking. What brand are those stands? And would the suffice as storage platforms in an indoor area? Thank you for your videos, they are very helpful!

Those are Suspenz stands and REI has them. They work great for indoors or on the move.

Will the tank well hold a 16" x 16" BlackPack?

Am I pushing the limit of this boat weighing 210? I know the capacity is 275, bit minus the weight of the boat and having some gear with me seems like I'm getting close to being too heavy. What's your opinion? Thanks!

What’s your height? After 6’2” you might find it tight on the footbraces. Also, depending on the type of waters you will mostly paddle. For bigger waters I’d go with the 14. Lakes and little rivers, the 12’ could work well. See Headwaters Kayak vids. He’s about your weight and reviews the C12.

@@HappyPaddlin thanks for the reply! I'm only about 5'10, so the height shouldn't be an issue. Just worried that at 210 with some gear I may be pushing the limits. Unfortunately I can't store the 14 footer...

Not exactly sure what you are after here but if it is a single 20’ plus sit on top then you should check out brands like stellar, stealth, epic, etc. For a big 22’ tandem, Check out Current Designs and Seaward and Melker of Sweden.

Wait. It comes with untethered styrofoam blocks as part of the structure of the boat?

They are fused in with the same stuff the boat is seamed with. Never had them come out since the boat was first introduced.
