by all means,learn to sing this song.this was my grandfathers favorite song as well....i have learned that when i sing this one at kareoke,every head of someone 10 years or older than me turns and listens intently....they havent heard it in so long...and i have gotten drinks and tips just for singing this song.if you want real country,this is it.

I was 9 when i fell in love with him. My parents played his album then i used to play it constantly! And Turn the World Around The Other Way which my brother said he sang to my dad as he was dying of congeztive heart failure and was on a ventilator. Back in 1996.
