I remember when this video just came out back in 2017 summer, i just started getting into eddsworld and i started going to high school. I left the fandom around early 2019 because the eddsworld amino community was really toxic at the start towards me. I'm finally turning 18 this 25th august and i still remember the day when i watched this 5 years ago on my birthday :)

Internet: Edd's dead Me: He still lives in our hearts. Edit: Some people are saying Edd is alive even though he isn't. When people say he is alive, it's misinformation. First, Edd wouldn't hide from his friends and his own idea of a comedy show. Eddsworld was Edd's idea and Edd is a good man. He wouldn't hide from his friends and the internet for no reason. If Edd survived cancer, I think Tord would still be here, and Matt & Tom would make it extremely obvious Edd is alive today. The reason Tord left is all the harassment he was getting on his socials after Edd's death. These turned into death threats and it was messing with Tord's mental health. So he deleted all his socials and legally changed his name to avoid any attention. Tom made a video about it and said to leave Tord alone, and not give him attention because Tord didn't want it. Please don't spread misinformation about Edd and what truly happened to him when he had cancer. :]

Matt isn't the only one keeping Edd's world spinning. We all are. Everyone who's a fan of Eddsworld, who makes animations like this that are dedicated to Edd, who wrote creative and fun stories that are great to read and are inspired by that amazing person's show, and people who are inspired by him in general (I being one of those people) help keep his world spinning. Matt's not alone. We - the true fans of Eddsworld (unlike those that made Tord leave) - are with him through thick and thin. We will keep Eddsworld alive. We will keep Edd alive. And we *will* keep Edd's world spinning... Together.

Ya’ll, I cried after reading some of the comments, I really miss Edd, I wish he never died and that Tom didn’t quit Eddworld, and that Tord left the fandom, I’m glade Matt hasn’t left. Let’s all hope that Matt keeps on making EddsWorld... T-T Edit- When I finished watching this I broke down into tears, my mom came in and she was like “Are you okay?!” And I said “N-no...” so I showed he this animation, and when it finished. I was about to explain the characters to her, and I said “ B-blue is Tom.... Red is T-To-..... “ and started crying again.. We All Miss You Edd! We Miss All Of You! T-T Edit 2- I watched this again and cried for the rest of the day, when I finally stopped crying I couldn’t feel any emotions for some reason I didn’t know what to feel. I felt like Edd was right there with me.

where the eddsworld cast is now Tom: he started a new channel called tomska and is doing very well and is keeping eddsworld alive by keeping refrences in his various prodjects Matt: he is now on twitter and is quite popular he has a few channels but he has canceled them all out Tord: he has gone fully we have no race because he fled eddsworld and got rid of all social medias as he was getting some bad stuff from fans Edd: (heartbreaking) Edd has passed and is above us his world is still spinning with all of his friends being there to hear his final wish to keep eddsworld alive which they did and gave eddsworld a proper rest My opinion: i think eddsworld should be brung back and even get the old or new tord i dont mind i think it could come brack through toms show crash zoom any thoughts?

They are making a new episode next week, i think if tord came back he might not have as much people harassing him cause they've grown up a bit now but some people never change but i wouldnt blame him for not comming back he left for a reason. Im glad matt is keeping his world alive

He inspired so many people (like me) to draw and animate and create their own stories. I’m glad I joined the community in time to witness it all. Thank you for making this. Thank you for dedicating it to Edd. Thank you for... recreating this precious memory that The trio made live on. Long live Edd Gould!

You should make your own show!! I would definitely watch it. But look on the bright side, Edd is in heaven so he won't have to deal with cancer anymore, and plus he's with God! He can pretty much do anything now, like.. swim in a pool of cola or continue the show up in heaven. When your time comes you will get to meet him! :)

As someone who's idea is to make a legacy after Edd making those entertaining toons and eddisodes, he did well on this too. After all, he did wanted to make it the same as it was if Edd DID beat cancer It's time that people who surfaced on Tord Larsson's lost video considering Edd's death an apology. It was never his fault that he decided to leave Eddsworld and go on to do his own artistic career (which is hopefully doing alright with him now) and because of the attention he never wanted, he quit and was never heard from or seen by anyone familiar with Eddsworld again. All we only have left of him is the "Snow in Oslo" video. Tord, you may have been a good friend to Edd and it's better if those people will let you be and some of them do understand your doubts And for dear creator Edward Gould, they did it. They kept your world spinning that you asked them to keep it a promise. It's a pity that you never got to be around in this world much longer and yet your fans still miss you and even the new ones who are disappointed and upset that they never got to see you or meet you in person which is their dream and hope. It would be nice if you were still around; now if you were already 33 years old, still making puns with your friends and if Tord didn't leave then you four would still be friends in real life who do things together wherever you four go and if you had the chance to still make animations for your fans then maybe there could be a chance to meet you to fulfill all those wishes. We all wish you rest in peace Edd, it's pretty swell

This, is honestly how eddsworld should be portrayed. I'm completely blown away at how amazing something so simple and detailed can affect someone's emotions so easily. I can honestly state that this is my now favorite video.

How this reminds me of the good old eddsworld days. Now most of the crew has left and edds gone and all of us fans of eddsworld depend on matt now. If only there were a true way to make eddsworld less complicated to deal with for him. Cause now, folks are harassing Matt's wife for the most ridiculous of reasons and some think eddsworld is just some yaoi bait. Honestly, it breaks my heart to see eddsworld fall apart like this. Even when it's most of the fandoms fault. But ya know, we all learn from our mistakes and hopefully we could all make eddsworld into something greater. Eddsworld in my opinion is the best fandom. Maybe are there fangirls or some cringy videos. But I think, there's more of amazing animations, videos and speedpaints. Maybe it's truth that every fandom is maybe a little ruined by fans and their ships, but that's life... Somehow, I know... if Edd were still alive, he will be proud of you all guys who animate this. 1:05 Ik this part is sleepyking’s! The lines near Tom’s eyes are a part of his style, right? Edit: I just realised I totally overlooked saying anything other than supporting sleepy 😅. I love this! I miss Edd’s animation, it was funny and original. All the adventure, the characters the jokes, every bit! This animation shows how far fans will go to support a passed creator and their content. The 2 end episodes were such a plot twist! It’s not the same without him. I feel for the family and all of his friends. EDDit 2: what if there was a whole Ellsworld series in Edd’s name? They might have left too, I’m not sure, but maybe we could do this.

Its almost been 3 years, and i still love this. I miss a lot of things about eddsworld. I miss how things were before, if only we can all go back to the way it was.. peaceful...

Edd would be so proud.😊

The ships actually had nothing to do with Tord's departure. TomTord was in 2016, Tord left in 2009. Tord left because people were harrasing him, stalking him, associating him with the character Tord (the crew has made it very clear that the charaters and the actors are separate identities) and he wanted to make his dream of becoming a cartoonist come true. He also got doxxed by his girlfriend as well (she also tried to make Edd help cheat on him but he refused thank God)

Welp, I gotta get used to this while watching Eddsworld videos. Besides, I kept watching this masterpiece non-stop.

This is amazing! Although I have no idea who or what this is for, I feel like this is the feeling you get it you stumble across Phandom, confused, worried, but also, happy to be here!

This is an absolutely beautiful tribute. Perfect song, perfect animations, perfect everything. Probably one of the best things to come out of the Eddsworld fandom. I know I'm kind of late, but the new Eddsworld video today reminded me of this amazing AMV. Thank you for this!

I'm like on the verge of tears because of how nostalgic I'm getting remembering these good times. I think everyone can agree that eddsworld wasn't a show, it was an experience. Great work everyone!
