What happens if you cant afford the helix what are your cheap amp recommendations to play almost like van halen i try to play on a yamaha amp only 10 watts but i would just love a suggestion from you since your the best guitar player ive ever seen

You know, I've been playing and making homemade guitars for over 2 decades and I've never seen this technique taught properly. I never knew that you had to hit over the fretwire, so this video is so very helpful. Thank you so much because I've always tried to learn. Eddies solos and I could never get the tap harmonics just right, but I was always tapping in the center of the fret as per usual and not on the fret wire. So wow, I am mind blown. Thank you again so much!

I've goofed around with EVH harmonics over the years but never really connected the concepts behind them. How the intervals between the fretted and tapped notes work. I always thought he just knew which places on the neck would make harmonics (which he did) but there's actually some structure behind all of it. Very informative and interesting, thank you.

Can you do a lesson on Eddie Van halens tremolo picking. I know he uses his middle finger and thumb but maybe you could should a version with the rotating wrist and pointer finger and thumb

I use a Ibanez GRGR330ex-BKF, I don't seem to be able to get that harmonic, Do I need to tune down?

I'm tapping the wire over the 14th and getting nothing. What am I doing wrong?😢
