I also remember phoning the factory as a teenager and speaking with Ingrid. She was kind enough to send me the first Lamborghini brochures that started my collection. What a privilege you had to meet her in person and bring your experience full circle.

Ingrid was the most special part of this production. What a touching story your farther has had. I’d love to see and hear more of him and his car’s and the Van Halen when it’s back please. I’m local to Iain Tyrrell in the uk and truly enjoy both your channels especially the Miura content. Thanks

Cars are cars. Yes they are all beautiful but when you see Ingrid that's when it hits you that it is the people behind the scenes that make all the beauty and passion really happen. If you don't tear up watching her, you aren't passionate enough about cars and their history. She is a legend!

Ingrid is the type of person legends are made of. What an amazing woman. She must have so many cool stories. The fact she sent brochures signed to John is beautiful. Congrats John and Curated team.

The phone call with your father was some of the best stuff I have seen on KZread in a very long while. I felt the love and appreciation those two have for each other over all the years.

John, Ive gotta say I thouroughly dislike Supercars/Exotics but I watch every single one of your videos purely because of your Passion for them and the lengths you go to do do them RIGHT. Im not an emotional guy but with that Phone call with Ingrid and your Dad really got to me. "Im not crying, you're crying" PERSONIFIED I lost my Father unexpectedly a few years ago and Cars were our thing, this struck right to the heart. What an amazing experience, thank you for showing us something so beautiful and personal to you and your Family Big Love from Australia

This video is what car passion is all about : beautiful cars, incredible engineering, and the pleasure to experience them in first person and letting other experience them as well. Sometimes it is difficult to explain what really passion for cars is all about because someone can really see the attachment to a material object. At the end it is something about the soul; this testimonance is just that : what the object is able to transmit people and the emotions from that. I really see myself into John because I’m taking the passion my dad transmitted me and having some of the best experiences of my life from that. Thank you guys for sharing this experience.

It's great to see this vehicle restored. Eddie is gaining status, he's really like the Elvis in the guitar world. His whole life was centered around Southern California. Just like Elvis and Memphis.

To remain humble and down to earth a midst the all of the opulence and luxury that is Lamborghini is a true test of your character. I, as I'm sure others as well are taken back on how you are continuing to carry the torch which is your fathers legacy and making your own in such a great way. You are right. I can't tell you how happy I was to see that they've left the car red. By memory the original factory colour was green but it was red for the entirety of Eddie Van Halen's custodianship of it. Word was that it would be returned to green during the resto, so I was glad to see red paint peeking out from under the cover. Actually, the way the guy gingerly and curiously checks under the cover like he's not sure what colour it will be makes me wonder whether they left that decision to Lamborghini and it was a surprise. Anyway, I'm just glad they stayed with rock'n'roll red; Eddie would be happy.

There wasn't any more feeling in this than the scenes with Ingrid. The Miura inspired feelings of a different kind of course, renewing our opinion of it being at the top of the heap with only a handful of cars vying for the most beautiful in the world. Fun video to watch, great job.

Great video, John. I’m a now retired Rock Singer/musician and about 10 years ago, the Guitarist in our band wrote and we recorded a song called ‘Miura’ as it’s our favorite car, a beautiful name and a great sounding song.

Incredible car, incredible restoration, rock star owned, factory restored and factory delivered. Content doesn't get any better than this! John, the moment you stood infant of Ingrid and put her on the phone with your dad must have been surreal. From how involved your dad was with the factory, to you now having a similar direct connection and being able to tie it all back to your childhood through Ingrid is a feeling you cannot put a price on. I am certain that feeling is more special than the completion of any restoration project. I am genuinely happy for you! Congratulations!

For me, the best part of this entire thing is seeing the relationships with everyone, and all of it centered around a car brand. The story of this particular Miura is special enough but knowing about the people behind it really makes it unique. IMO, the cars are always what grab the attention but the relationships and connections along the way are what is really special.

Miura is perfect rock star car because it is not easy to drive... like a guitar it takes practice and some art... I'm sure Ed would be proud of his "go kart" now

Congratulations Curated. This might be your pinnacle episode! I had two take aways watching this... First of all, I always thought Jon was a good guy, a passionate guy, but when he called his dad and reunited him with Miss Ingrid, I realized Jon is an OUSTANDING GUY!! Jon's tears got me! At that moment I knew, for Jon its just as much about the people and the journey as it is about the cars. ❤ Secondly, the way Lamborghini handled the unveiling of the Miura, the way they treat people in general tells me its a company run by people passionate for their brand. You can tell they are petrolheads first and business people second. ❤ And in the automotive industry thats important. I could name for you atleast three brands right now that I feel have no soul anymore because there is no passion at the top. Its just business to them and it shows. I may never be able to afford to own a Lamborghini and Im ok with that. Just knowing experiences like this are being had by good people like Jon and his team in this day and age of misery brings comfort to the idea that there is still some light in this world. People want idiotic stunts and crazy builds, the complete opposite of what they do. Most people don’t get the effort and time involved to acquire most of the cars Curated has let alone the time to restore them so they don’t get what this channel and company is about. It’s one of my fav channels, I grew up learning about “classic” European cars so seeing Curated’s content is a highlight for me when they make content.

Excellent video, would loved to see a few more seconds on each car filmed there's just so many beautiful cars.

I think Eddie would get a real kick seeing his car restored at the factory. He owned that car since the early 80s when Valerie Bertinelli bought it for him and he drove it regularly the entire time he owned it. Such a beautiful car with a beautiful history.

So blown away by possibly the best automotive video I've ever seen- I'm serious John what you and your team are doing is nothing short of amazing! Not in the Lamborghini tax bracket (have a 77' Pinifarina designed Lancia Scorpion with aftermarket magnesium wheels) but dream of possibly getting a classic Lambo someday. All these incredibly well edited and impromptu sermons (what else can you call them at this point) keeps the fire going-Molto Grazie!

My eyes popped out when the Miura was unveiled and you revved it, but... I got a lump on my through and the popped out eyes went watery from listening to your dad talking to Ingrid, what a beautiful and caring lady. mate you guys have to visit her and bring family over, she'll be so damn happy.
