I would too. He knows what he’s talking about. Gives confidence but also let’s the players know when they fuck up. A players dream.. at least for me

@@maxistan2111 they're also a small team with 14,000 stadium capacity that have only recently came up from the lower leagues. I respect Eddie for how he's kept a team like this and their fans aspirations for Premier league football, and they are a decent mid table team.

Maxistan 2 considering they’ve stayed in the prem for 5 years now is pretty impressive considering the size of the club, budget, transfers etc. Don’t think anyone backed them to stay up in their first season.

Totally agree, Eddie is the best English manager for years. Could manage any top team but he suits Bournemouth to a t. I hope he stays there and brings success from the project he is building.

He’s got an officer sort of vibe about himself. Quite posh but firm and commands respect. Hope to see him manage England soon.

Yeah I know, he's different gravy, his English sence of humour wouldn't go down well at foreign cosmopolitan latte drinking, property talking Spurs. A English bloke walking around Hotspur way wearing combat khaki and beige military clothing occasionally comparing a situation at the club to Goose Green in the Falklands or something similar, would go down like a Lead Balloon and would sh*t the life out of the owners of the club... Apparently when manager of Bournemouth he used to take the squad on a run through MOD Dartmoor Training Area.

I want to be a football manager and have followed Eddie Howe for a very long time. Fantastic man management and trust. Ego when its needed but understands all the players personally. Absolute role model.

Portsmouth fan here, Eddie seems like a great manager to play for. Encouraging players , positive feedback and constructive criticism on point and also tells the players how it is.

Best English manager of this generation. If the FA had any bollocks they'd be on the phone to him straight away.

I'm a Preston North End fan , this was superb to watch , Howe is a very intelligent manager

I remember watching Bournemouth play in league 1 in 2011 and the development of this club since then has been amazing. Eddie Howe is pound-for-pound one of the best managers in the league, to take the club with the smallest ground in the league to consistent survival is a proud feat. Best of luck for the new season from an Arsenal fan.

What a life! Playing football everyday, training abroad, Prem, FA etc. to look forward too. Eddie is a great motivator. Love his mentality. Looks a very good manager.

I really enjoyed this as a wannabe coach this is very interesting stuff to observe and think about, his communication and attitude are examples of great physiological coaching aspects. He is very intelligent in the way he speaks, very simplistic in his speaking but so much can be taken in from it. That along with his ability to read a situation and overlay the right kind of coaching, either positive response or criticism, it's all constructive. He is a manager I would love to hear more from in training.
