Spot on Eddie, if you're going to make an opinion you have to stand your ground on it. If you watch the whole interview, IFL was doing a regular interview with Frank until Frank noticed Adam on his way out and Frank called him over. That's when Frank decided to takeover and question Adam about the opinions he's put out, with the IFL crew waiting silently for Frank to finish. They continued to film because they were still hoping to conduct their interview with Frank (which unfortunately didn't happen as Frank was quite pissed.) Talksport seem to be cutting out the part where Adam physically tries to turn off their camera which is both a disrespectful move by a fellow journalist(no matter the platform) and a pathetic act by Adam to avoid holding his opinions to scrutiny in the public eye of which he spoke such opinions.

Do I think it was an ambush by IFL TV and Frank? No. Adam was there working for and representing TalkSPORT, not himself or Fight Disciples and Frank knew that. I’m certain that if Adam didn’t have a camera in his face without warning of what was coming he would have told Frank his opinion and doubled down on it instead of clout chasing which is what IFL TV does best. If fact he told Spencer Brown, fury’s manager to have a chat with him off air about his grievances with Fury. You can’t tell me as a boxing fan that Fury v White and Fury v Chisora wasn’t warm lager, and that the Francis fight wasn’t nothing more than a cash grab that made Francis look more like a star and Tyson more of a twat than he already is.

Adam had the choice to refuse the interview and leave. If he truly believed in what he said, he should have brought receipts and told Frank his truth. But he didn't have anything to say without his notes. I appreciate that Adam speaks his mind, but when he was asked about it in person outside the TalkSport studio, he couldn't support his words, and I think it made him look bad.

Chisora was warm lager. That was complimentary.

Did u see it? Adam looked like a scared kid, had no answers to Frank, didn't give any real response, and only made silly facial expressions. I like Adam and I really don't like Frank, but, unfortunately, Adam got made to look silly and Frank schooled him. Gotta be honest. And to be fair, I had similar opinions to Adam, but lately I've realised that I was wrong.

Adam backed up his comments with facts and Franks response was to say "well you say stuff on the radio that isn't true so he said stuff on TV that wasn't true". As if that was the only example if Fury saying he didn't want to fight Usyk. Just like pretending that the Saudis didn't want undisputed last February or the February before that when AJ had accepted step aside. Only for Fury to say he needed a warm up.

AJ had just come off a loss to Usyk and despite that was willing to take 40% then Fury shifted the goal post and made the date of fight closer than it had to be, as well as gave AJs management team hardly any time to iron out and renegotiate contracts etc. Fury just recently went life and death with Ngannou and all of sudden feels entitled to not fight as soon as December 23rd like he stated he would, and instead he will give himself time recover and only fight Usyk on February 17th So where was all this understanding about recovery and dates being too early to fight for AJ after he came off a fight? very hypocritical from Fury as per usual.

I don’t think he had a chance to live debate on the spot, it was clear Warren wouldn’t let him talk

Adam was absolutely right in his assessment and Warren can moan all he want but the facts are the Fury hasn’t had a meaningful fight for over 18 months despite all his talk he could have fought Usyk and Joshua but didn’t and blamed everyone else. The fact that Frank said the Netflix documentary wasn’t true when we all saw it was Tyson saying everything to stop the Joshua fight was laughable

Adam is a professional, but perhaps showed too much respect for Frank during the interview. I think he would have been forgiven for defending himself more. Frank twisted his "warm pint of lager" metaphor to suit his position, but all things considered, we know it to be true. The HW division has been a shitshow for many years due to fighters acting as businessmen instead of fighters, however that isn't entirely Frank's fault. In fact, I don't think much of it is. In the past twelve months it comes down to one man, Tyson Fury. Adam is not a part-time pundit, he studies the fight circus full-time and is one of the most knowledgeable pundits on the planet. It's no coincidence that Team Fury were so riled by Adam's recent comments towards Fury, because they cut close to the bone and they're factually true! If not, then why did Fury set unrealistic deadlines for the AJ match-up? If not, then why didn't Fury take the unification bout after Usyk accepted his 70/30 split? If not, then why are we now waiting for a unification fight with Usyk next year instead of next month?...because Fury wanted it that way. Period. Frank is Fury's promoter so it reflects badly on him, and I think he's taking the criticism personally, but in reality the criticism is directed squarely towards Tyson Fury.

I just don't understand why Adam didn't defend his position more, we all know he's right and Frank is full of it. All Adam had to do was refer back to the Netflix incident, it literally shows us exactly what happened with AJ, as for walm lager bloody spot on, it has been ever since Wilder 3. Frank was within his right to defend his man nothing wrong with that, but just surprised Adam didn't defend his views a bit, he just stood there and took it. Very odd. On a lighter note; would be great to see that interview with AJ.

AJ took 2 days to sign a contract to fight Helenius and 4 days to sign a contract to fight Wallin so don't tell me that 3 weeks wasn't enough time to sign the Fury contract..... Also, Eddie Hearn "Fury and Usyk should of fought by now"..... Well what about your man and Wilder? 🤦🤣🤣

I like Eddie Hearn, but he's made an invalid point saying that if AJ beats Wilder & Fury he's the best heavyweight of the generation. This can't be the case after being beaten twice in the manner he was against Usyk. I would love to see AJ right that wrong, but I think stylistically for him Usyk is his nightmare. In my opinion, Usyk wins that fight 10 times out of 10. But I hope for AJ's sake I'm wrong, as would love to see him beat Usyk

AJ would still need to right that wrong with Usyk. But "beaten in the manner he was against Usyk", AJ wasn't destroyed in either fight. Outboxed in the first fight convincingly, however the second fighter was a lot closer and I think Usyk only won it because AJ gassed out in the last few rounds, upto that point it was actually an even fight. But in the end AJ lost twice, and to be called the best of the generation he would have to beat Usyk, which I think would be even closer the 3rd time round, but Usyk has no need to fight AJ again, he can just retire if he beats Fury. That said, I think Fury will beat Usyk, not do a rematch and leave the game with a questionable legacy. Testing positive for Nandrolone ahead of the Klitchsko fight, avoiding the rematch. Being a lineal champ and padding his record with fighters like Pianeta.John McDermott first fight, shocking decision. Ducking David Price. Getting badly beaten by Wallin and Ngannou. The only unquestionable high profile win Fury has is against Wilder, and Wilder has only beaten one decent fighter and that's Ortiz. If Wilder loses to Parker, it will just add more scrutiny on Furys record.

Lets be honest, the second fight wasn't an even fight though was it? AJ had improved massively from the first fight but he still got outclassed and out matched in 8 out of the 12 rounds and that's being generous. Nothing to do with his ability or desire as a fighter but he is stylistically perfect for Uysk and I don't see that changing in a third fight, even if AJ beats wilder or Fury convincingly,

You obviously don't know what battered is. Battered is what Fury done to Wilder in the 2nd fight. AJ was outboxed by Usyk in the first fight, that's not a battering. If you think that's a battering then you haven't watched much boxing.

They talk about 'getting someone in the studio', like they used to talk about the fight itself. Big deal?

Frank Warren is always moaning and slagging of Hearn and Hearns boxers but anyone slags of fury . Adam Catterall is only stating facts fury has blatantly ducked USYK on the time after the AJ v USYK he came out with he needs a warm up fught first. then there was the 70/30% which USYK called his bluff on the December Saudi Arabia venue wouldn’t be ready it there to see.
