@@carpenteredits I actually don't mind seeing Tarlos continue to have trials and tribulations. It's what a real relationship is like, even the cheating and all that. I mean, I do ship them and stan but I don't even think they need to get married and all that. And hopping back on the topic of bro love, the thing is thats exactly what I wanted with Eddie and Buck. I understand what everyone who is disagreeing that Eddie and Buck are just really close bros who care for one another but that type of relationship still exists even within the gay community as well and it would be nice to see it happen as well for those characters as well. That's why it feels like queer baiting. Us in the queer community have all kinds of relationships, but it's hard to break the barrier with hetero men because they aren't shown as fluid in their identity. It's why some of us have been eager to see if anything blooms, even if it was something small like to see if Eddie and Buck kiss to see if they are interested in each other. They already have the feelings there for each other.

Let's be real Eddie still doesn't know But Chris does and is tired of waiting

It's kinda ridiculous that, if Buck or Eddie had been a female character, their obvious chemistry would have had the writers doing a more overt "will they/won't they" and then inevitably getting together *many season ago* by now! I mean, it's SO obvious that these characters would already have expressed interest in each other if they were a heterosexual friendship so the fact that because they're two guys it just keeps not happening? It's getting so frustrating at this point!

@@kaseyscottYea I remember that being the reason why Luke Grimes (best known for Yellowstone) quit True Blood because he refused to kiss a man. His character becomes romantically involved with Lafayette and they ended up just recasting the character of James and the actor Nathan Parsons took over for the final season. Luke refused to portray a gay man at all. It’s so silly when men act like this over kissing a man for their JOB. I’m sure he didn’t feel morally wrong for pretending to be a murderer for a role but god forbid he kisses someone that is a man. It’s a fictional role that they get paid for. I actually think it’s awesome to see straight men having no issues with portraying a gay character. There’s countless male actors who are straight but have played gay roles. Like Darren Criss for example or Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family. Then on the opposite end, some people harass actors because they are convinced that they are secretly gay as if it’s impossible for them to convincingly portray that character. It’s so hypocritical when fans harass singers like Shawn Mendes because they are obsessed with the idea he is gay as if his sexual orientation is even remotely relevant to his fans. It’s even more delusional with the One Direction stand that are obsessed with the conspiracy theory of Harry and Louis being secret lovers. People need to realize how ignorant it is to expect actors to be just like their fictional characters and they need to realize that they do not know these celebrities they obsess over and their love life isn’t any of our business. *sorry this was super long* 😬

Ok no, but the season or two before when Eddie got shot and then told told Buck that he had made him his legal guardian for Christopher, my Dad he was not always the most in tune with LGBT stuff was watching and was like, "Wait, they're just friends, right?" 😂

Actually I feel like for the season they’ve really been trying to keep them apart. The first 1- 3 seasons I think they did what the fans wanted and making very obvious remarks and gestures. It was not in our head they wrote that in. But I do feel like they’re pulling back the idea in the last season because they know it’s not gonna happen and they want to stop teasing us. Teasing can only last so long until it becomes frustration. I don’t know what they’re doing this season. Realistically I can definitely see Buck accepting it full heartedly the moment he realizes while Eddie might hesitate and deny in the beginning…😅

Okay LBR, that scene of them in front of the house they destroyed is SO DAMN STUNNING. I swear the two of them are like looking at the sun.

These have been the worthy, valuable and cherished endgames for thousands of years since lengthy and meaningful storytelling was invented by humankind for humankind. "Bromance" has never been included within the categories mentioned above. That is why bromance is such a bad idea for an endgame. Forbidden love may or may not apply and happen in this entirely fictional story for these characters but it would be the only emotionally satisfactory resolution for their trajectories together. Any other ending would be a lukewarm, insipid, and tepid solution with no drama, gracefulness, congruity, and elegance.

Even with Buck's coming out, I don't think it is gonna happen. We are near the last season and Tommy x Buck just became a thing. Also, as far as I have seen, it is actually kind of one sided just on Buck's part, not only on the show, but also from the cast. I don't see Eddie's actor promoting the ship as much as Oliver.

I think the writers just need to go for it, talk to the actors make sure its okay then make them a thing, because it's so cute, they would be such an adorable couple(not like they aren't already) Evan is legit co-parenting Christopher and they are together day-in and day-out work and home. And dont just say "They're best bros!" Athena and Hen dont hang out that much after work, they stop by together every couple of days and catch up, but I get the feeling that Evan and Eddie hang out almost every night together, Evan helps him at home.

I wish for Eddie and Buck to get together very much. But, as I watch this season, the writers have hardly written any scenes with them together. If they have been together, seems like fluff conversation. I think they are backing off because of the outcry for the gay baiting that happened early in the series. They are not going to put them together romantically, so they have just stopped most of that innuendo story line that got them so much flack. I get my hot couple fix on 911 Lone Star. TARLOS!

Personally I would watch 911 Lonestar or Roswell New Mexico the 2019 version because these shows actually have gay content. And actually are more geared to giving equal time to the LGBT community and all all Races in background type things. And then shows like light Shadowhunters in the spinoffs for say Vampire Diaries.

I like the show I like positive with depictions of lgbtq relationship.( or just really good bromancing in this case) This in Roswell New Mexico 2019 are my favorite shows these days.. either way they make for good Panthers and good ships.

I said over a year ago that the writers were queer bating and now I seem to be correct. Maybe because it's Fox TV but either they realize that people were catching on to bait and switch or maybe the main characters are uncomfortable ect. Still though have you noticed that their viewership has dropped significantly because people started tuning out and Lonestars viewership has increased tremendously. I think if ratings continue to fall they may not continue after this season, and that's a big shame!!!
