EDC Flippers for $50: Buck Sprint vs CIVIVI Elementum - KnifeCenter Reviews

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Which gets your vote? The evolutionary Buck Sprint kcoti.com/37tBI8r or the runaway hit CIVIVI Elementum kcoti.com/2wdfj24
Buck has a long history of great knives, which is why the new Sprint is so good to see. Modern materials and ball bearing pivots are matched well to Buck’s famous 420HC steel. CIVIVI has also impressed us with the no-frills Elementum. D2 steel as standard with G10 handle scales are put together with fantastic flipping action.

Made in USA, great in hand ergonomics, price, great overall design, FOREVER (no questions asked) warranty. Not even close, the BUCK Sprint select WINS.

I love my Elementums. I own an Elementum with brass scales and a D2 blade. I also own an elementum with micarta scales and s35vn steel. I usually don't go for budget knives but these really are great little knives.

The $50 EDC is by far the biggest category of knives possible. I can't even pick from my normal rotation, but twist my arm and I'll say steel will mini intrigue. It weighs nothing and the fine tip is nice for a lot of different tasks

My vote is for the Elementum. I always carry larger knives for edc so I never was interested in the Elementum but recently I needed something smaller for formal events and I purchased the Elementum because I know Civivi makes great knives.. I loved it so much I purchased another one in a different color. Now is my go to knife whenever I need a knife that is less noticeable but still solid..

I have the buck 840 sprint select, as well as the civivi praxis (slightly bigger folder) and switch off between the 2 of them. I love them both

Elementum 100% wins this. I've got videos up of the copper, brass, and a brand new video of the marbled carbon fiber version with close-ups. The handle scales are insane!

Buck makes a good knife and I have a few in my collection. It would have to be the Elementum for me though. The blade finish and grip scales are better looking and they didn’t screw you out of carrying in some jurisdictions by making the blade just a hair over 3” like Buck did.

Good comparison ,I have not bought a buck for 25 years. Own 5 Civivi, Elementum MARBLED C. Fiber, in my pocket Right Now.! Pretty hard To Beat. But I Will Be Glad to look at THE BUCK .THEY HAVE BEEN MAKING A Comeback, in the Last few years!.. Good Luck. Buck.! Stiff competition in that price range. I like D2 ,have many. I Own any 440.any More..? Buck is worthy of a look, like the size and shape. Liner lock , cool. When David talks. I. Listen 😉🦊😊

I just can’t get past that unnecessary flair at the bottom of the pocket clip. It’s just asking to get snagged and broke off on something. I have the buck sprint pro in micarta and it has a similar clip, I always have to be careful with it

@@stevejfromak842 Well if im going outdoors fishing or hunting or just hiking or camping I prefer a fixed blade. But weekly in the city I EDC a folder and it must stay under 3 inches otherwise I could be in trouble. So 98% of the time those are with me. I don't buy knives to keep in boxes or drawers at home.
