I always carry a pen and notebook. I guess I'm old school as well, I hate taking electronic notes. Great EDC.

I do a combination of both. Quick reminder I will use my phone but I usually carry a notepad and paper as well for notes I need to jot down here and there.

Great stuff! I'm still doing my Seiko Alpinist plus Samsung galaxy S7, with a Victorinox Manager on my keys and a ZT 450. I normally don't edc a light, but when I do it's an olight s1 baton.

Cool vid ! My EDC in France : Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, minimalist flat leather wallet, Orient Ray 2 black dial or Seiko sngz15 on zulu straps, Fenix E05 2014, pen and paper, small first-aid kit, some paracord, Gerber Dime (always in my pocket since 4 years!), and of course a knife. In my rotation, since locking blades are "more" prohibited in France than non-locking knives, I mostly carry a spanish Pallares Solsona, Le Thiers from Cognet, L'ariégeois or Le Phasme from coutellerie Savignac, or L09 from Perceval (check these out!). Sometimes I also carry a custom Opinel n°08, a Spyderco Persistence, or a Kershaw Leek.
