I like the minimal set up. Very similar to mine, though I'm now thinking I maybe need to look into a phone case with a wallet. I also use a Sticky holster for my 365. I've tried other holsters but it's still the absolute most comfortable and versatile. Wouldn't wear it in my waistband without a belt or with gym shorts, but one could in a pinch. I only wish my 365 had an external safety. I've also spent way too much money over the years on knives and honestly your decision to carry a beater makes so much more sense - I've coached a couple folks that way in the past couple of years - guys who weren't used to carry knives and made no sense for them to spend $150 plus on a knife when they could get a $40 or less knife that suited their purposes just as well.

Ya don’t get me wrong- premium knives are amazing, I have some for hunting. But for day to opening boxes a beater does the job.
