That is what true love is ! Addiction on his part is what drove them apart. But if anyone knows the true story about what Eddie and Michael went through in their home country and the absolute ridicule and bullying they went through then I can understand the addiction aspect. Eddie was bullied horribly as a teenager. But guess who was laughing then and who was crying and ultimately ashamed for being such assholes to him. He married his true love. And please, I am absolutely not saying anything bad about the woman he was married to at the time of his passing. She brought him comfort and companionship and he loved her and she loved him ❤ ! It was just a different kind of love. Edward Van Halen, may you have eternal heavenly peace and give Heaven a good neck slide to let them know that you are there and ready to join the serenity without the stress. 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

They were by far my favorite celebrity couple and I've been watching them for many years. I watched her when she was first started on TV. And as she went on and when I heard that he was marrying her, it seemed like it was out of Infatuation. but it wasn't. It was more of a special connection that the 2 of them had that most people would dream of having.

EVH was a poster child for "Just Say No To Drugs." He looked horrible in his late years. It's sad that he couldn't overcome his demons and stay with Valerie. They were made for eachother. RIP Eddie
