Every single time I hear his song "Perfect," I cry. I can't help it. I spent five long months in the hospital with my baby daughter fighting for her life!! Every time, when she wasn't hooked up to a ventilator or on an ecmo machine, I rocked her singing her "Perfect", slightly changing a few of the lyrics. It was her lullaby. I sang it to her even when I really believed she was going to die! She was so very sick. His song means so much to me and now she's five and how crazy is this? Now she loves Ed Sheeran. I don't think he'll ever know how much his music touched our lives. Music can get you through the darkest moments and deepest trauma life brings someone.

Awww, this brought tears reading of your battle whilst your baby girl fought for her life. So happy she is now aged five, and that your love of the song 'perfect' became her lullaby and brought you joy and comfort at that awful time. Your gorgeous girl also having a love for Ed Sheerans music must be in her earliest memories when you sang to her. Music can fill our souls for definate. @benjaminanderson6856 It must have just been anecdotal to me. Most of my friend group and people I spent time around listened to rap and hip hop. I was really into John Mayer and Ed Sheeran as I was learning guitar at the time. I guess it was more that most of my friends only knew the hits that he dropped and not his like b side songs. Which I would talk about maybe too much haha. Definitely not trying to be the "I liked him before everyone else" guy. He was just one of my favorites at a time where most of my peers were like meh to him outside of his big hits like Thinking Out Loud. His live performance footprint has certainly expanded over the last ten years.

I'm from near where Ed Sheeran grew up, when i hear him play Castle On the Hill I can imagine the scenery, the castle, I feel like I'm in the passenger with him driving down those country roads, stunning. He's one of few artists who's lyrics take me on a journey. Ed Sheeran; Singer, Songwriter, Story Teller and now Husband and Father. Feel blessed to have grown up with his music.

His music is such a treasure! Castle on the Hill acoustic is so so beautiful.

I've watched Ed on you tube since 2010. Clips of him doing singalong in a friend's neighborhood. Also playing gigs in pubs. Concerts at the round house many venues and every. interview that I could save. I know he was something special that helped me go through tough times whilst my 22 yr old daughter was going through dialysis for 3 yrs . She had a kidney transplant in 2011. He helped me and my daughter through many many tough times. The A Team was the first song we fell in love with. We Still love him more and more. Thank you Ed for helping us through scary times.
