Little fact did everyone know that Edd is managed by Elton John and when Taylor asked Edd to be her support act for the Red Tour he wasn't sure he wanted to go back to the studio and record. Elton said You will never get another chance to perform and learn from the best in the business. So Edd took his advice and here we are today. Edd and Taylor best friends and musical gods.

I think if he plays by himself he doesn't but if he's playing with someone else it makes sense he use one. Then again like I said it's super subtle so that might not be the case but it's not impossible
