Glad to help. You're welcome.
Ed is amazing. I saw him in 2018 in Wisconsin. I had tears in my eyes when Ed pulled in with the 4014. I never in my life thought i would ever see i living, moving steamer. Thanks Ed and the UP gang for giving me that opportunity. ❤❤
MAN !!! The guy's who built these things HAVE to be rolling over in their graves with laughter in that "How stupid are we in 2023?" as to NOT knowing how to rebuild an old ALCO product? Big Boy to an 0-6-0...it's similarly all the same right? Unfortunately, it's strictly a generational situation. Ed, and the U.P. have pulled thus feat off with amazingly astounding results. I'm NO expert, (by a long-shot), but what you're reading is 1-64,000th %+ of what actually goes into the process. Ed's doing an excellent job here in explaining, (to the commoners), of HOW they retrieved the engine, and then re-built her. And per the above, what one does not understand, is the countless hours, day's, month's, and perhaps years of intrepid dedication while “pouring” over years of faded /crumbling /artifacts of blueprints and other extraneous information to get the job done. JEEZ, I'm shocked and amazed at how ya'll got this thing done with what you had . THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART GENTLEMEN !!!
Good meeting you!

Thanks Caleb, was an honor meeting you and seeing your amazing creation of Big Boy. You may have noticed at end of this video it included your introduction to the group where I inserted your pictures. Very generous of you to donate for young and old to enjoy for many years to come.
I truly hope they bring the big boy through Austin Texas this year. It's the one major city in Texas they've never brought it to.
Ed Dickenson is doing good job running #4014 today as an engineer.
Ban none...!!! The "BIG" move was a "Herculean" effort of time, space, the continuum, and human patience. God bless ya'll for going through it...(I don't have the time or patience to be marginally competent to pull off such an endeavor).
It must’ve been emotional, moving the locomotives to their new home
Are you using De-Ionized water in the loco's now?
Not to complain, but "speech to text" has / had a long way to go right? And I get it, (for the most part).
