Some old video footage that I recorded at the 1990 USPF Senior Powerlifting Nationals in Miami, Florida. Combined lifting session of the 198 lbs. and 220 lbs. weight classes. Several national and world champions lifting in this squat session including Ed Coan and his IPF world record squat of 931 lbs. Please share!

Why was Ed Coan competing in the USPF in 1990 and not in the IPF???

The USPF Nationals was the IPF sanctioned world qualifier meet at that time. It wasn't until later that the ADFPA/USAPL took over the honors.

@@yamanmustafa I believe the USPF still allowed him to compete in their national competitions, he’d then competed in the APF Worlds during his IPF suspensions.
These are good squats not like those Westside ones.
