I JUST saw the name of the sax player… DOUG WATSON!!!! Thank you for your outstanding playing Mr. Watson! Ed Bickert always excelled when paired with another lead instrumental voice (witness his Paul Desmond collaborations).

Just love Ed Bickert’s playing . The king of guitar voice leading subtleties……musical nectar.

Ed Bickert was one of the best musicians. I put him on the highest level alongside other now-departed geniuses like Holdswoth and Martino.

Ed was such an exceptional player with an incredible chordal knowledge. Very musical in every way. One of the all time greats.

This is gem!

There aren't enough transcriptions of his music. He should have his own book by Hal Leonard or at least have more people transcribing his work
