7:00 Battlefader activates and resolves in Hand. So it should not be affected by skilldrain lol. As long as the specialsummoning happens the battlephase will THEN end.

I love how you kinda discovered how good the viruses are through like summon Orc it gets like bottomlessed and you chain DDV, that's the whole reason to play decks like my virus turbo. Great video!

Battle fader works like all the Virtual world cards, or the Drytron cards, where they activate in the hand but resolve on the field, dodging the effects of skill drain, so you're fine :D

Ectoplasmer with D-Fissure and D.D. Survivor would be strong

Possible future video idea: I was looking through the fiend type cardpool to see what kind of silly fiend decks I could build using this Recurring Nightmare engine, and I stumbled upon a card I had no idea was Edison legal; Darkness Neosphere. A defense position Giant Orc is begging to be attacked, so imagine dropping the surprise 4k/4k beatstick out of nowhere. Is it good? Probably not. Is it funny jank? Absolutely.

Have a goat format ectoplasmer deck (with 2 ulti ectoplasmer) that is very fun to play. SO EXCITED for a possible edison format build. So many fun edison builds for me to try in this series. I almost need you to slow down so I have time to build and try them all at locals

I think it’d be cool if you tried to build a good version of that one deck with Manju and Sanju that search high level 8 fairy ritual monsters for no other reason than a +1 that they can use for trade in and discard traps for a grind game with the Maju’s beat down (herald, honest, chaos sorc, etc). It’s super cool but only saw someone play it once and potential is there

I hope that Ectoplasma gets banned or atleast limited in the next banlist it's destroying the game how did konami not guess that burn cards would be so powerfull?! a 200 damage sparks is just so OP now imagine being able to murder your monsters for burn!

Day 2 Please toon in edison

if you want to build more around recurring nightmare, i had some fun lists with puppet master, and tomato arma as engine to add fader or something from the dark pool to hand. stygian security & seargeants are nice to support grave squirmer, and some things like sinister sprocket, or a hybrid with zombiemaster can work too^^ but i think puppet master, stygian security&recurring nightmare can make fore a nice core with the additional good dark/fiends around

I tried so far to make recurring nightmare good and this was close to the best I could come up with too lol

I've always wanted to do Ectoplasmer + DD Survivor/Scout Plane + Macro/DiFi but I feel it is too many pieces to really work I feel the forced banishment for opponent will really drive advantage long term

This deck seems, at the very least, very fun. Maybe with another tweak or two, it could maybe be stronger? Not sure what it needs for that

Something I wonder, why does solidarity see play but the field spells like Mystic Plasma Zone don’t? Obviously the attack boost from Solidarity is 300 more, but surely there are decks that: •Are not the same type but are all mostly the same attribute •Play monsters who reach relevant number thresholds with a 500 boost

12:51 You can't even use Malice Doll's effect with Mass Driver, because it tributes for cost and Malice Doll only works when it is sent by effect. Off the top of my head, the only other card in Edison that could work with the Doll is The World Tree, but that interaction is worthless. Which is a shame, i was hopeful of getting ideas for using Ectoplasmer, because it is a way to trigger Fortune Lady Light.

Recently Goat Format has been seeing an Ectoplasmer Control deck get play so perfect timing on introducing an Edison version. Also at 9:32 didn't matter but shouldn't that Gillman have been sent to the GY because of DDV?
