Mali and Burkina Faso have made it clear: 1. If attacks take place they are out of ecowas. 2 it will be a declaration of war. They did not see this coming. Now they want to wait? Why? One week is one week.

@bmswisdom9824 ECOWAS can't wait and should not wait. A military action would force the junta to escape immediately. Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso would not fight Ecowas. They have no capacity to fight Ecowas, also these countries are fractured into tribes. What you not seeing is that these coups are tribal struggle for domination and control of resources. Other tribes in those countries are never going to join the tribe of the coup leader to fight. One thing I can guarantee you is that if Ecowas initiate a military action, the coup plotters would escape in few days.
