Hey Juris , Yesterday I was watching MJ's video wondering about the new Gallery space in their new place and I had to go straight to the only person / creator who has always made usable space work better than any other Aquascaper . That's 100% true from everything I have watched , and not that long ago I was watching the video from one of your trips to Denmark when you were @ Michael Mikkelson's home !!! I got a great idea for creating my next scape based off of "what I would have done differently " 😉 Which is definitely the 1st of many things for me 1st UNS aquarium , 1st Iwagumi & 1st time growing a carpet and the best part is that this will be my 1st scape using my UNS Mini regulator with my 1st paintball cylinder. Until now I have been using the 95g disposable bottles . Do you remember what size aquarium he had ? wish me luck ... Hopefully you can swing over to Mark's new place and if you do have fun 🇳🇱🇩🇪

I would love to see these two with contrasting plants/color schemes. Maybe in one, you go for Anubias Nana and Nana Petite, regular solid green on bottom, golden in the midsection, and white on top. Maybe some Christmas or Willow moss to compliment. That gradient sounds gorgeous to me, though. Then, in the other, something more chaotic. Maybe a colorful crypt or some Rotala Wallichii, with buces and more moss to tie the two together aesthetically.

It was my first thought. Then I spent hours searching for magnets that are water proof. And then I realized it will be impossible to put the tanks close to each other as I would have to keep distance for the outside magnets or the hardscape will crash whenever I have to move the tanks apart …

it's amazing as always. The only thing I'd do differently is to place the filter way lower and use a hose to deliver the flow upwards. That way, the particles water will accumulate in the lower part of the tank, delivering food to where the shrimps are. But for a tank that small it probably wont make any noticeable difference.

It doesn’t look like it’s readily available here in Australia yet. One suggestion, if you use a masonry blade on your multi cutter it might be easier to cut the rocks.

I really like your videos with aquascaping, but with this obe you make me really sad. It is highly iresponsible to put endangered and not easy to bread shrimps like sulawesi (almost all of them) are into such a small tanks. How do you plan to avoid ph and temperature fluctuation during often water change (with this low water amount you have to change 5% min. twice a week) I'm breeding different sulawesi shrimps for almost 10 years and I wouldn't go with less than 60l for beginner. I mean your tamks are beautiful-especially for sulawesi tank but totaly not suitable for keeping them inside this environment from longterm point of view.

The C.dennerli will come from a breeder who has adopted them to same water parameters like regular Coridina shrimps. I don’t know if this project will be successful (my goal is to breed the animals) but I will try my best and at least it is an attempt and it will not damage any of the wild population as I will only use captive bred specimens

I bred Sulawesi for many years too and agree that it is much easier and successful to keep these shrimp in larger tanks. It really does help to keep temps and parameters more stable...plus breeding will be higher and more successful. A shrimp that would be ideal for this set up is one I'm currently breeding. They are called Halocaridina rubra, aka Opae'ula...a brackish water species that are the easiest shrimp I've ever kept. You don't even need to do the typical water changes! If properly set up even feeding is optional...they eat the algae and biofilm in tank. The best part is they live up to 20 years! An amazing shrimp...it quickly rose to 2nd place after Sulawesi and may just eclipse them in the end. People are scared off when they hear brackish but in practice it is even easier than freshwater. I aim for .0012 salinity which is roughly half strength sea water diluted with RO water. Perfect shrimp for nano aquariums. The only thing I do is turn the lights on and off. Occasional top offs with RO water but haven't had to in 3 months.
