I am in the “time in the market” and “China” category. I am limiting my US exposure in regards to the “time in the market” by adding equal weight to: emerging market index funds (VWO / the Canadian equivalent VEE); total world value index funds (VVL / not sure what the US equivalent is to that) and the total world index fund (VT / Canadian equivalent VEQT). That said, continue to buy a mix of China (BABA, TCEHY, JD, BIDU, and others) while it’s fo the low low.. at the moment my portfolio is 100% China.

Are you doing this as a poll or just tallying up comments? By "time in the market" you mean SPY? Because the "market" is not just the S&P. If I had to choose from your list it would be TitM (if you mean SPY) + large cap dividends, but I would add BTC for sure. I backtested a bunch of possible etf combinations on portfolio visualizer a few months ago and ended up going with the following for a long-term account: 25% SCHD + 40% XLK & the rest in VXUS/SLYV/VGLT/GLD/SIVR/INDA/EPOL/EWJ/AMLP/IXC/GUNR plus a BTC ETF. Of course, past performance does not guarantee future results... Also I hope you make a follow-up vid and comment on the results in more depth than you did here with the previous.

dylan here- time in the market would be spy or qqq. If we ask questions and tally votes they have to be limited choices such as SPY or QQQ instead of just any stock in the market as there is thousands of options.

I think Crops shot themselves in the foot, going to big in a down economy to get record profits when they should have been more measure in this short term to entice the soft landing, and build for longer sustained gains. But quick money seems to be focus anymore (CEO's and CFO's watching too many KZreadrs talking 10x's stocks and crypto I guess). Anyway, I am not as fond of China markets, though there are some picks there, I just don't like the lack of transparency of the government's involvement. I do have a few Manufacturing stocks there. And then, "renewable" energy is another sector I like in China, but also Euro markets. But that's a personal principle pick and not to everyone's liking. For the US market, I think its' demise is a bit overrated, if calling it a down market is based on historical highs. Still plenty of sectors to retain good returns, and I just keep taking a little bit of the gains off the table and shifting them to more steady areas to lock them in. But again, I get that isn't as much a focus for folks anymore and I am an older Buffet type investor.
