To bad so much has changed, I miss reading a good newspaper or magazine!
Delivered the Newsday in Garden City back in 1964. Technically, I was 'assistant' paper boy; it was my older brother's route and he made me do the work. Went for 5¢ a copy and the paper boy got 2¢ (of which, I think I got 1¢). Boggles the mind that that was actually money at one time!

I just looked up Mrs Kingsley address and it’s real! I wonder if she still lives there and if she ever did pay her bill for the papers? Maybe she never did and that’s why they went out of business in 1986?
