Rotary tunnel kiln, also known as movable tunnel kiln, is an improvement and upgrade of tunnel kiln. It is specially designed for large scale brick factories with annual capacity of 30 millions pcs standard bricks. The typical feature is that the bricks billets do not move while the kiln body rotates. The rotary kiln body is all made of steel structure and runs along a circular track. From front to back, it is divided into drying section, preheating section, roasting section, heat preservation section and cooling section. The rotating and moving kiln body moves forward intermittently on the track, the front section "eats" the bricks, and the rear end "spits out" the fired red bricks, and completes the whole process of drying-preheating-roasting-cooling-bricks in sequence.
The brick factory in this video adopts simplified production process. Unlike other rotary tunnel kiln, the green brick shaping plant also moves on the kiln tracks.The green bricks from the extruder and cutter are directly placed on the ground of the kiln by robots. So it saves circular billet distribute belts and the manupulators to place the billets onto and off the belts.
