im rebuilding my 2016 motor. gotta make room and then pull it this week. thanks for the info!

Seems like it would be easier to pull the whole thing along with the K member I've seen a couple videos and they remove the whole front end and the engine and tranny just slide out the front.

@@ospguy1 I’ve heard that the 2020 and up ecoboost mustang ford redisigh the pistons and thicker rods I think that’s why you don’t hear of any 2020 and up going ecoboom I haven’t heard of not one eather it’s that or the new oil specifications with SP and GF6

@@victorrippe5845 They went to the Ford Ranger rod. Rod was the weak link in my engine.

I wonder if the 19 still has the weak rods

@@CoyoteDAworld I think in mid 2019 ford went with a stronger Rod and new piston design if im not mistaken
