I love it!! It's better than ResinCrete, IMHO. It's ceramic resin. I found coloring it fairly easy. Today I used acrylic paint as a mix-in with brilliant results.

It's fantastic stuff
Yep, blue marble one for me too
I work at Michaels in Quebec. I haven’t seen any reviews. So happy to see yours. Thank you.
Thank you for trying this! I was so curious. Looks great! Can’t wait to see the terrazzo chips in your work
I bought a little mixer that I put on the head of my little drill to stir the mix at a fast rate. Just little tips that helped me
I just bought some of the white one today. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for the video and information.
Thanks and please keep it coming for us newbies. 😊❣️
So many brands now to choose from! Thanks for the demo. The finishing product is so important. Glad to know about the brush marks.

Love the marble effect. I haven't tried any of the resin crete or similar products but I am curious to give it a try. Thank you for the review.

Thank you for your review of this product. I haven't seen too much info on it and was very interested. I actually purchased the white at Michael's a couple of days ago.

Thanks for the demonstration. I received an email from Michaels advertising this product and I was curious about how it works.
I will definitely buy it. Thank you.
I've been using Mix2Mold for a couple of weeks, and I do love it. I ordered their pigment ink before watching your video, and I kind of wish I'd waited. I'm wondering if adding the drops to the water beforehand would make a difference for a more solid blend. I tried using mica powder, and it did blend, but it came out very light in colour. And I also tried a resin dye, and it didn't blend well at all. I think I may try the acrylic paint mentioned in a previous comment to see if it works for me.
I love it I have watched severl people doing this stuff and I will be gett some soom❤❤❤
Love it! I've tried using mica powder, acrylic paints and alcohol ink for coloring. All 3 mediums give a very light pastel shade. Trying to figure out how to get more vibrant colors. The marbling works well (I added a very small amount of black micra powder).
I’m excited to try this. There’s so many out there from Jesmonite, to resin Crete and on and on. Pricing is ridiculous for some of them plus shipping.

@@BreaReeseArt yes all the ones I mentioned are the same. Just resin has one as well. Jesmonite was the first. So much fun I made a tray now to try other things
The sealer reminds me of Earth Safe due to the showing of the brush strokes.
i love the marble one
I stocked some of this yesterday. Super curious about this. Apparently it can be food safe too????
Thank you!
I am a resin person and tried resincrete. Love it! Anyway I got some resuable mandala stencils from Temu for my trays.

Try our Mix2Mold!®
I think that the problem with the sealant is the brush. I would recommend using a softer bristle brush.

Thank-you. I was actually going to try a sponge but Ill go check and see if Michaels sells softer brushes :)

We are working to improve our sealers :)
My first attempt at using this has been a disaster! It seemed like the water to powder ratio was off and the powder wouldn’t mix. (That ml scoop really does suck) By the time I managed to get it smooth it was already thickening. I had powder and cement drips everywhere. Be sure to try this the first time in a well-protected space or your garage. You made it look so easy!! For round two I’m going to research that water ratio some more and use a larger cup for mixing so that the water can reach down to the bottom more quickly and easily.
SO glad I found someone talk about this! I was walking around Michaels and was so confused by this because I've never heard of ceramic resin. How breakable is it? Can you break it in half with your hands?
@JBKonsCreations
Ай бұрын
it’s breakable and as far as breaking it with your hands it really depends how thick it is. I plan on doing a video soon with a drop test :)
جميل جدا 😍🌹 nice🎉🎉🎉🎉
How durable do you think this would be for a very small figurine? Of course as long as it doesn't have very thin pieces
I love using it. Unfortunately the best I’ve found comes from England so the shipping is ridiculous but the product is fabulous

Ours is available in the US and CA! Where are you located?
Great video, everything explained well. I was wondering since the molds are silicone could I use those little silicone candy molds to make small stuff and then if I sealed them differently could they then go outside? Oh and do you think I could paint the items with acrylic paint, then seal them?
@JBKonsCreations
3 ай бұрын
You can definitely pour this into food mold just make sure that you don't use it after for food just to be safe. This sealant I bought if you put 5 coats on you can take it outside. I think this sealant could be good BUT it definitely needs a different applicator because the brush it came with is not good. Oh, and you can paint this stuff too :)

Can u paint the mold with mica powder first?
Can you paint ceramic resin the way you would a ceramic piece?
The instructions said “mix til smooth” so that's what i did. 😂 Turned out great though.

the instructions on this are so vague.😂
I just bought some, but haven’t tried it yet, it was 50% off, which was great price. Powder and colors, chip and tools were all 50% off
I use acrylic paint to dye
I have to keep tapping the mold as I pour
It’s on clearance here in Florida for $5 a bag
Bummed they didn’t have it at my Michael’s in Exton PA. I’ve only used jdiction resin Crete.

I think foam brushes leave less marks, great tutorial, i have used resin crete, still like epoxy resin better, I agree this is more like ceramic.

I didn’t buy any of the dye, I just thought maybe using acrylics or alcohol ink just to experiment. They do sell a kit that includes a cup, whisk, stir silicone stick for 10 bucks, but at the Michael’s in my city it’s 50% off.
How heavy are your finished products?

Maybe put more water for the colored one

There IS information on the back of the bag re the work time. It's in the same graph as the measurement. It's in French. Permit de realiser.
The measuring instructions on this is so confusing. I made a huge mess and because it was so liquidy I spilling it all over my tray!

The instructions are really vague unfortunately. They needed a bit more instructions.
Im going to dishwasher safe modge podge
The instructions clearly say to APPLY 5 COATS. SO ITS YOUR FAULT THAT THE FINAL LOOK IS WHAT IT IS. and that brush you used was definitely a NO NO if you didn't want brush strokes.
@JBKonsCreations

Actually the instructions say: Apply 1 coat for normal use. Apply 3 coats for outdoor use. Apply 5 coats for food use. I intend on using it for normal use so according to the instructions 1 coat is enough. :)
