UPDATE 4/4/2023: there was a spam bot that was trying to impersonate me. With one little click, all the comments are deleted now. More might pop up though. Check the name, I’m “@JonDZ_Adventuring”. 4/3/2023: For those entering the giveaway, I believe KZread has an algorithm where they block certain key words. I have no control over it, so PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK to see if your comment sticks. Refresh the screen and make sure you comment is on this video. Thank you and good luck! Also, remember to follow the instructions, or you don’t qualify for the giveaway. Love you all! From the bottom of my heart, thanks for all the support over the years! -Jon

Had this happen to me on another KZreadr site. A scammer replied to me saying that I didn't win the prize, but he had something else better than the initial prize. They're very crafty thieves. Luckily I noticed a slight discrepancy with his name. It's sad that we can't have fun without scammers preying on us.

@@isaowatanabe1902 the scammer copied my icon, but it’s name was “TEXT 888-555-5555” or something like that, really obvious. I’m glad it’s so easy to fix. Like a Thanos flick of a finger, I get to undo everything the scammer did 😇

I usually bring a bag of pistachios and cashews on long road trips. During the summer trips, it gets super hot, and deez nuts are now stale. I'd like to keep em in the fridge to stay fresh, and this is where the Eco flow comes in handy!

Interesting tidbit: if you build your own cable for solar you need to make sure you use an XT60i cable instead of an XT60. It has an extra pin that basically tells the unit it's able to pull a higher voltage and current (this is also how it determines whether it's a "car" input vs "solar" input).

  • @mycoolproject

I would use the Ecoflow Xt60i cable if possible. Those generic xt60i cables on Amazon do not indicate in the description if the sense pin is wired correctly.

DUDE! I love your videos. As a fellow driver of a passport it’s cool seeing how much work you’ve done to yours. As a big outdoorsman, I’ve always loved backpacking but haven’t done much with over-landing. My girlfriend Deez Nuts is less into carrying a lot of heavy weight to camp so it seems like the best idea to pick up over-landing.Anyway, love your build and hope you continue to come out with videos on your channel/TikTok! Thank you for the inspiration!

Jon, the Eco Flow units are great. DEEZ NUTS need to stay warm so I bought a Montek X-1000 by supporting them on Indiegogo which uses the same chemistry and has the advantage of being waterproof with an IPX rating. But the Eco Flow Bluetooth functionality is sweet and I’m considering a smaller Eco Flow as a second unit just for that flexibility as I’m moving to a rooftop tent and want to be able to switch things on and off wirelessly.

Sleeping bags are rated using a minimum 5.0 r-value sleeping pad underneath. That Z-lite pad only provides about 2.0r of insulation value. The air mat looks non-insulated. This is why backpackers use Exped Down Mats and Thermarest NeoAir X-Therms, which have the proper amount of insulation value to make the bag perform on top of them. Look for the EN Lower Limit rating on a properly rated bag for men, the Comfort Limit for women and women's specific bags. Personally I use a quilt that isn't EN-rated but the math on the fill weight of the 800-fill power down works out. Jacks R Better makes a great value quilt that is much more versatile than a standard sleeping bag.

It's a great unit for portable power needs. I use it so much at work where we have to install POS terminals in areas where there often isn't electricity installed yet. This allows us to boldly forge ahead of the electrician and get all our little issues worked out before AC is available. At the point we have AC, it's now just plug and play. EcoFlow is really helping me change the game at work.

Thanks for the review Jon! I hadn't really considered Eco flow but this one seems to do the heated blanket well like we use DEEZ NUTS to keep warm on cold nights. Keep churning out the content. You're almost to 20K!

These power stations are great for running an electric blanket overnight to keep deez nuts of mine from freezing off without risking running the vehicle's battery down

Wow this is so cool! Never thought of using a heated blanked. That would definitely keep Deez Nuts warmer on the snow camping trips in mammoth!

Wow you know how to power up a great review abut powerstations. I can not believe that the power station was only at 56 percent with the heated blanket on. I know that the heated blanket kept your wife warm. I feel like you could roast deez nuts such as peanuts with the powerstation and make happy moments out in wilderness.

Thank you for the opportunity to enter your drawing for an Eco Flow River 2 power station. I think Deez Nuts would come in handy when the power goes out.

I've subbed since the pandemic began, needed some great landscape to look at while working from home and being cooped up all day. Thanks for all the great adventures. So what is the DZ in your name? Deez nuts? Danger Zone? Maybe a fan of Archer to Top Gun possibly.
