    This is my 1st time on your channel and I must say I was blown away by your presentation on Eclectic Chic Interior Design: A Fusion of Style and Personality. In the future can you list the names, company address & phone number of the interior designers so that I can speak with them about the cost of several pieces I'm interested in purchasing. Thank you.

    These different styles of interior design all look the same ! Why is everyone trying so hard to "coin" a hot trend instead of just doing the actual work that's needed and just do the DESIGN ! The public at large will make the choices of what they like...then it becomes a trend...then it gets a name.

    Hi, thanks for your opinion! We get where you're coming from. It can feel like everyone's just chasing the next big thing instead of focusing on creating unique designs. It's all about finding what resonates with people. We are trying to keep pushing for creativity and authenticity and will keep it in mind for the next content creation.

    Eclectic chic is absolutely beautiful , but some parts are confusing to me, like a bathtub in the bedroom ! I don’t get it. Why not a toilet or a stove in the bedroom it just don’t make sense.

    Love eclectic stying. Sometimes get others people ideas and And to find out I don’t like it. And eclectic styling you have to do what you wanna do. But I do find that you need a common thread throughout the house. No more advice some from other people except those that like eclectic

    I hate white walls but husband does. Wud love to change my walls to a color. But what color wud be loved by both ?

  • @lift.on.

    @lift.on.

    3 ай бұрын

    Hi and thank you for your question! Choosing a wall color that both you and your husband can agree on can be a fun and creative process! Since you both have different preferences, finding a color that meets somewhere in the middle might be the best approach. Consider opting for neutral colors that have warm undertones like beige, taupe, or greige (a mix of gray and beige). These colors are versatile and can create a cozy atmosphere without being too overpowering. They also pair well with a variety of furniture styles and decor preferences, making them a great compromise. Another option is to explore soft, muted tones like sage green, soft blue, or a gentle blush pink. These colors can add a subtle touch of color to your walls while still maintaining a sense of tranquility and neutrality. It might also be helpful to gather some paint samples or swatches and test them out on your walls to see how they look in different lighting throughout the day. This way, you can both visualize how the color will transform your space and make a decision together. Ultimately, the most important thing is to choose a color that both you and your husband feel comfortable and happy with. Communication and compromise are key in finding a solution that satisfies both of your preferences!

    AGREED. Grey Blues and Oranges dominate 75% of the images. Most are too abstract/ modern for my taste, some I loved, more subtle colors also.

    You use the term 19th century, surely you are referring to the 20th century that is 1901 to the year 2000 ?

    Hi and thank you for your question. We are referring to the later part of the 19th century. For more precision, we can define Eclecticism as a movement that mixes elements of different styles and periods of the history of art and architecture. Born in France, quickly exported throughout Europe, and then to the United States, the style manifested in the West between 1860 and the late 1920s.
