Right on point. I've been thinking the same thing for a long time. This consciousness and self awareness teaching is a must for our young ones learning to navigate their inexperienced lives through this treacherous road of life. This type of teaching should be integrated in schools from pre-school until graduation ---- and even beyond.

Completely agree...the kids esp in their teens go through so much suffering..I wish every school all over the world took some time for mindfulness,meditation and becoming more self aware.

Yeah, It's incredible. First heard Eckhart on the youtube about 4 years ago, seems it was less than 100K, like 30K or 50K back then. Certainly changed my life, just being present, so simple.

Ran into Eckhart at a grocery store in B.C. Got chance to thank him then help him put groceries into the trunk of his car. Most ordinary but powerful of circumstances. Being in his presence shifted my presence straight away! Love you, Eckhart. Deeply grateful for your teachings and helping me to remember.

@Andrew Sykes Yes it was very lucky. Been reading 'Power of Now' since 2004 and each year since as my guide. Thought I would have to go to one if his talks to see him, but meeting him in person with no crowds was such a blessing.

Before i listen him i was in such a mental pain but after i heard from him that there is another self of me which is detached from all those suffering and a shift happened,it was like i was seperate from my body,but still i was able to feel a sense of self which is wider,like covers eveywhere and from now on i am always try to be with it,especially while listening him,i often listen him🙏💚🌹 So much appreciation,gratification for him🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💛🧡

I’ll never forget when I had my first panic attack almost nervous brake down at 18, for the first time I looked at myself in the mirror and asked myself who am I , where are these thoughts coming from, I’m definitely not initiating them, many years later after searching for answers and healing I could not believe that the ego was seperate to me. I still struggle to be conscious all the time but I’m still practicing. Thank you each eckhart.

That is a very powerful comment, Stella! It makes me realize how we are not taught who/what we truly are. Much of our suffering through adolescence is trying to figure out who we are and all we know and taught is to identify with our egos, instead of with our sacred conscious spirit. I think this is a critical point of where we lose ourselves. We lose ourselves before we even find ourselves. I hope to raise my future children knowing the wisdom that Eckhart teaches us.

My heart wells with love and regard for this man. After much suffering, I’m finally able to understand these teachings. I’ve by no means been freed of ego, but I get glimpses of my divinity and there are no words to describe it and certainly no words to express my gratitude. Dare I say the pain was worth it. I never in a million years thought I’d say that, but I bow to my suffering for it truly was the gateway. Thank you for being in the world dear Eckhart. ✨🙏✨

Ditto that. I'm thinking the same thing: if it weren't for my past troubles that I overcame, I wouldn't be who I am today. And it seems many of us need to hit "rock bottom" before realization sets in and healing begins. Surrender is a part of it. "Let go and Let God" got me through some hard times.

I feel like I'm sitting right in front or Mr. Tolle and he's speaking just to me. It's so comforting to play this and feel loved even by watching a screen on my computer. Thank you Mr. Tolle for being such a powerful yet gentle force here pioneering the new earth. More than ever we need these teachings. ❤️👏🏼🥰🙏🏼

I have been following the teachings of Eckhart Tolle since 2013 after going through a shocking and painful divorce at 27 years-old, which shook "my world" and reality as I knew it. All of a sudden, I was alone in the US, without family and friends - I had very little emotional support and had to learn how to rebuild "my life" on my own. The loneliness and disorientation I felt were intense, Eckhart Tolle's teachings was all I had, so I leaned into it heavily, listening to it every day in my solitude and finding comfort in his voice and in the truth I sensed in his teachings. 9 years later, after a difficult journey of uncovering a lot of unconsciousness (the divorce was just the beginning) my life has transformed - I remarried a wonderful man who is kind, loving, patient and we practice spirituality and work on our unconsciousness together, I have started my dream and vision of becoming a spiritual wellbeing coach with a focus on Eckhart's teachings, and my dream of moving to Portugal is finally coming true. I don't want to focus on the "outer layer" only and don't want to give the impression that life is now perfect, we all know this is not the nature of reality. There is still unconsciousness, but more often than not I am aware of it shortly after, so I'm able to let go and not create suffering. I continue to practice presence since I know anything I experience in the world of form is temporary and will eventually dissolve - I want to be cautious not to develop strong attachments to the world of form after manifesting the life that I always wanted. I felt the truth in my bones in everything that Eckhart teaches, but to have put it to the test (how he says it himself), and to now experience and see the truth for myself has been transformational - it has deepened my presence and trust in it, and it is incredibly liberating to feel connected to source throughout normal daily life. Thank you, Eckhart.. I am infinitely and forever grateful for your teachings.

I related to your story so much! Too much to say ( even though our stories are different the struggle was similar) I get frustrated because I feel powerless when I can’t communicate and express my feelings. I am happy you found happiness. It is sad to see how much suffering that one human being can cause to another because of their ego and insecurities.

Very wise man. I'm very empathetic. But I notice that people only come to me when they're in crisis. I pick up on their emotions whether I want to or not. And I'm surrounded by narcissist. How do I deal with toxic people that I love without reacting and find peace at the same time? How do I control my emotions and feelings in a healthy way?

I've been going through my spiritual awakening for over 5 years. I study manifestation, Reiki healing, and consciousness. I know the universal laws. I meditate and speak affirmations. I know the rules, but every time I get close to peace, I get attacked by the closest ppl to me. Everyone, even strangers come to me for help. I feel obligated to help them, because I feel what they feel. But I don't know how to even ask for help bc I'm so used to being the helper. I try to spread positively, but I attract toxic people who take advantage of me. How do I attract people on higher vibrations? I feel like I'm surrounded by ignorant people who are asleep. The more nice and positive I am, the more I get taken advantage of by my own family, finance, friends, ECT... Do I stay and continue to suffer to help them or do I walk away and find people more awakened and open minded like me? I feel like certain people in my life block my manifestations. What do I do?

Me too, when I was young "freedom from mind" came naturally to me. I saw beauty and miracles all around me, I was smiitten with everything. As a consequence I had one label after another tacked on me. I was taught to feel poorly about myself. Finally, after years of self rejection I clued in, and have been working at being present ever since. Once again, people started treating me like I was a dead brain, but this time instead of feeling bad I just chuckle to myself and think I work very hard to be this spaced out. I don't bother trying to correct and educate anybody, I just let them be as uptight and judgmental as they are and go on my way.

He literally just explained the meaning of life. Phenomenal. Sharing this link with my clients!

Everyone in prison would not be there if they received this information, over and over until it’s truly understood, and key points memorized. I watch him daily and retain a little here a little there. If I keep it up 5 years from now I hope my egoic mind will have all but dissolved, and my reactions will be from a place of true presence. No longer following the old narrative we tell ourselves about who we are based in our past. And no longer projecting myself into future situations…when I get to that future situation I will know what to do…no need to play things out in my head because I’m in the present and cannot do anything until that moment actually arrives.

Thank you kindly MR. TOLLE!! I appreciate you and wanted you to know your videos inspire me.

Your words gave me my first real glimpse as to why I was torturing myself. Started my current journey to inner peace. Thank you!

Very special indeed. Love that answer of why choosing to be happy. Choosing happiness then from that perspective stems from Compassion. At the end of one of Sadghuru’s talks he asked, “Would you rather be around a happy person or a miserable person? Of course, happy.” Then he said with his palms together high up to his forehead (begging people to hear and understand), “ Please please please…ALWAYS REMEMBER, everyone else wants that too.” But when moments of less desirable emotions arise, don’t judge and condemn yourself. I just make sure I have plenty of time alone to get things right. Peace and Love

Being consciously aware and present is quite fulfilling.I started doing such a month ago.Where I live I can see the sky, quite a number of trees and birds.While I am driving, I stay focused by paying attention to the driving and taking note of people and buildings where possible.It is not easy at first but you have to train the mind.We are so accustomed to our minds wondering that we miss the little joys of daily life.

I learned a wonderful presence practice for driving with through Eckhart years ago, maybe you’ll enjoy it too. It is the one where you ‘feel’ the space around you, the then the space you’re feeling gets bigger and bigger. So first it was my body. Then the car seat. Then the space within the car - that was the first test of the real practice! Like a physical version of listening to the space between words. Then once you ‘were’ the space inside the car, you leave and become the space outside and around the car, then the road, all the way to the universe !! It was AMAZING :)

I love this man. I like how he say other humans always not others or people . 😊

I am thrilled to read these comments. I so resonate with that experience of listening to Ekhart . Something happens . It's almost like hypnotism but that isn't it . This has helped me to stop the flow of road rage- now I just ignore them and the negative flow dies - I want to promote healing vibes

Few years ago I was utterly looped into my thinking.After few small changes I am so surprised nowadays that thinking has left me.I can see the sky today and be greatful for the magic it brings.A simple tree and its longer life history can make my day change and resign my useless overthinking !It is so surprising, that my body reflects it and my eyes I can see have another light

Imagine having road rage and finding out you flipped off this amazing soul. So grateful I am passed that stage of life. 💖 Thank you for your wisdom Sir.

Almost lost my life due to road rage in 1998. Yes I drive MUCH differently ever since that incident.

that was so amazing. live teaching. I could feel it. In depth answers, immediately afterwords I started putting it into practice and everything felt different, more precious. His explanation of Gratitude - how practical yet profoundly shifting. I just love Eckhart's Teachings so much. He really TEACHES. Shows you the way with no tricks no convolution, no other agenda there than to make us get it. It's been life changing to listen to his talks and bring more awareness to my life. Real shift in real life for the betterment of humanity. Thank you so much.

At about 30 minutes mark, he talks about our response and reactions to our surroundings (people and events); this is still a huge challenge for me. Although I do not act out but deep within me I process the feelings, thoughts and emotions. Negative ones tend to hurt but I practice letting go. Spiritual journey is tough and Ionely.

Aww.. If you are really present, in the present of God, source, who loves you so much and very joyful. You don’t feel alone, even with others because of your closeness to God. Life here is more of a game, you can respect it, but not take it to seriously. We do learn though on a deeper level. Take care sweetheart♥️🙂🙏

Beautiful teachings

In 2017 I had a skateboarding accident that left me massively concussed. I forgot who I was completely for about a day, and it took several months to completely regain my faculties; there are still many things I don't remember, and many others that I'm uncertain if I truly recall or just have 'reconstructed' a memory for. I experienced serious identity & existential crisis for a long time after, questioning why I had survived, who I was when I hadn't known my own name, who I 'was' now, who the 'who' was recognizing all of these thoughts...now, I can say it was the most important lesson & greatest blessing (aside from meeting my wife) of my existence thus far. I am a whole different person and so much more balanced and joyful in general, more than I have been since early childhood...still experiencing many dark nights, but learning to love my whole self and appreciate how exquisitely unique and perfect my journey is! So much love to you all, fellow seekers, it is your own journeys that are creating the collective light which calls like a beacon to the whole of conscious existence...blessed be!!

Tink eckhart is a wonderful teacher . Try Lorie Ladd too also here on u tube she is very gentle, non patronising with very down to earth teachings. She would tell you that we all are awakening whether we are aware of it or not& that it is perfectly fine whatever your experience of it is. 💚🙏🏻

Tink possibly one of the reasons you question whether you’re awakening is because your beautiful consciousness is bringing up this uncertainty and questioning in you for you to see and notice. . In order that it can be acknowledged and then released. You’ve got this lovely. Please know you are awakening whether you know it or not & your soul knows exactly what to do dear one xxx

Dear 'Dr.' T, your spiritual teachings are my "prescriptions" today...because of them, I PRESENTLY don't need any. You are a gift to the universe the evolution of man kind. I was gifted the Power of Now over a decade ago and I have since reread it several times and have listened here for years. Your ability to consistently CREATE the definition of pure awareness and presence, and it's importance to inner peace,, through ANY of your spiritual lessons is truly astounding. Oh and your laughter/giggle is soooo REAL and appropriate! Thank you for clearing 'things' up so to speak....Because of you, you make more sense . . Amen
