Case 95: FINDINGS:
Intra-cardiac Echocardiography (ICE) images are shown here with tenting of atrial septum at fossa ovalis during trans-septal puncture to gain access into Left atrium. In next clip sheath has been passed fro catheters to be used for procedure. Having history of Atrial Fibrillation he is likely going to have Pulmonary vein ablation procedure. Other indication of Tran septal Puncture include PTMC (Percutaneous transvenous mitral commissurotomy), Left atrial appendage device closure and other ablation procedures involving access to LA.
