I bought this exact trimmer last month...BEST TRIMMER I'VE EVER USED.... I've used Stihl,Troybilt,Husqvarna and several cheap brands. It's balanced real well...and the auto load trim line head is the best thing ever created on a trimmer...I cut string about 6ft and slide it thru and twist the head until it is loaded up...ITS THAT SIMPLE...I LOVE THIS weed trimmer. Plus a 5 year warranty..cant beat that!!!!!!

Bump the head on the grass while it's running, and it'll release the spool ratchet mechanism one notch, and feed out a small length. You'll hear the sound change from the longer length. Don't bump it too many times or it'll just waste string, because the guard cuts off any excess.

My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use kzread.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

I'm considering this trimmer but can't find any specs on the horsepower rating. Do you know what it is? If not, what do you think of the power? It may seem insignificant, but 2 or 3 tenths of a horsepower rating makes a big difference with small engines. Also, solid drive shaft or flex?

What direction does the head spin if you are looking down the shaft? I have looked for over a month at this and the Stihl FS 56 Rc-e. Got the Stihl today and it’s counter clockwise. 15+ years of clockwise spinning trimmers so counter clock wise is really messing me up. Caught a rock in the lip today.

in order to spin clockwise you'll have to get a curve shaft trimmer .

You always need to use a 50:1 oil and gas mix. There’s no separate oil. 🙂

good video-if you have grass and brush that tall, don't use this trimmer. Spend some money on a walk behind cub cadet string trimmer, 100 times faster and more efficient than any metal blade attachment you attempt to use with this trimmer.
