Echo questions: Otázky, které nemají slovosled otázky
Tvoření otázek v angličtině má svá pevně daná pravidla. Existují však otázky, která tato pravidla porušují a mají slovosled klasické oznamovací věty. Říká se jim echo questions nebo parrot questions. Thank you so much for stopping by and watching the video. 😊 Of course you may use only-one-word questions such as "Seriously?" or "Really?" in both formal and informal situations. If you want to be super polite though, it'd be more suitable to say something like "Is that so?" depending on the context. 😉 Have a wonderful day and take care, Markét
