Echo PB2620 vs Husqvarna 525BX: Comparing features of these 2 handheld leaf blowers
The Husqvarna 525BX and the Echo PB-2620 are both the premium models of handheld leaf blowers in their respective brand's line up. The Husqvarna 525BX is the step up from the Husqvarna 125B, and the Echo PB-2620 is the step up from the Echo PB-2520. It's easy to see most of the differences when comparing different models from the same brands, but when you look at models from different brands you don't always see a lot of the important differences (Or lack there of) between the two. In this video we are going to look at some of the key features of both models of handheld leaf blowers to help you get a better idea of how they compare to each other.

In my opinion, bang for buck, the echo wins for a hand held unit.
I have the Husqvarna 525BX and find it excellent, far superior to my Stihl 86C!
I went shopping for one yesterday.. And which did i get.. I had a look at three, a Stihl, the Echo, and the Husqvarna.. The Stihl looked nice, buit i had been warned about the thing hurting your wrist. I had a good look at the Echo and Husqvarna side by side. In the end, the Husqvarne looked a better job, the things like the contols looked better quality, but what did it for me is that the Echo does not have any sort of vibration control, in fact, in practice it vibrates THREE times as much.. In the end i got the Husqvarna..

How are you finding it? Anti vibration is super important for me. I actually had the Echo HC 2020 hedge trimmer and ended up selling it because the vibrations were completely unacceptable.

Husqvarna is not measuring at the outlet tube ... you can't have higher volume and airspeed yet produce less newtons.
Going on 7 years on my echo and haven’t done shit to it … and still running great! I probably should install a maintenance kit on it…but I’m such a slacker and probably install one next season 😊
One important feature of the Echo blower is the cylinder is chrome plated for long life which is not found on cheaper models. Husqvarna doesn't advertize a chrome plated cylinder so apparently it doesn't have one. That's what sold me on the Echo.

Picked up a 2620 at a local Echo dealer that’s still selling them for $199.99 last week. That’s $60 less then the Stihl BG 86 and $90 less then the Husqvarna for what are all fairly equal machines. Better value. Easy decision.
Echo is the better blower for sure.

Shame it vibrates about 3 times as much as the husqvarna...

The Echo isn't as well balanced, has you reaching for that bottom handle with your other hand. Same with the Stihl 86 I was always hanging on to that bar underneath. The husqvarna is much better balanced than the Echo but that's personal preference

Two good hand held blowers...Price and quality for me tip my preference to Echo...the overall weight of the Husqvarna with a smaller fuel tank and lighter tare weight might be more appealing to a smaller/female operator as run time is less of a factor on handhelds because if you need an hour of run time-i would recommend a backpack blower...good video...thanks!
