Hi Tim, Echo/Neutra has made interesting watches like the Cortina 1956 “Deep Black”. It seems like an ideal combination: Italian design, Swiss manufacturing. And 1956, great year! This GMT model with 7 hands is a bit overloaded for my taste, but what matters here is the opinion of the lucky ones who will buy it and fully enjoy it. Regards from Chile!

Interesting implementation of a GMT. Swap the GMT hand with the hour hand but leave the day/night indicator tied to the new GMT hand and now you got something. I personally like a date on my GMTs.

I too have had this brand on the radar for a couple of years. They’re designs are excellent, and this chrono is a real halo model👍

This looks like future high service costs. Most of my watches are in the 1K range from reputable brands but I’ve just about given up on automatics and mechanical watches. I’ve had to send back watches for warranty from Serica, Yema, and Squale and for the time being decided to go with simple quartz watches. Just received a CWC GS sapphire 36mm service watch. 200 meter water resistance and 10 year battery life and incredible accuracy , couldn’t be happier.

Is there no running seconds? Also all watches should have drilled lugs....possible exception being dress watches. Beautiful watch.

"For Your Eyes Only" also had scenes in Cortina. But anything Pink Panther was far more amusing. Nice watch.

Bought a "Cristallo" diver last year. with black/blue dial. Wonderful watch. But please, although being italian, the right pronounciation is "Echo / noitra", like in german. ;)

Tolle Firma. Ich habe sie einmal angeschrieben und keine Antwort bekommen und bin immer noch etwas sauer, aber gerade die neuen Modelle sehen fantastisch aus.

if it had a gmt bezel or at least a 24h chapter ring it would be an automatic yes. good looking watch, but probably a pass. my search for a gmt chrono continues.

Um, no. People who buy chronograph's do so to use it. I use it when doing climbs, while I am bbqing, during my running...and many other tasks. Just because you don't need one doesn't mean the rest of us don't.
