A shop wanted $250 to do this for me. I bought the tank for $57 after watching this video and did it myself. This was a great video. Thansk

Thanks for watching!
I don’t read the video’s description, open and thumbs up. Always learn and also reinforce my techniques. Besides the obvious, are there other items you always replace? I’m flipping something, so I watch pennies real close. But, people know my work is quality. Take care.

Theres nothing in the description that isn't in the video. There isn't any individual pieces I always replace for a flip but I'll never flip anything with a cylinder that isn't perfect. If I suspect an air leak it gets tested. Carbs are never adjusted lean to give the impression of more power. If your flip comes back for a carb problem you can fix that cheap but if it comes back with a scored cylinder then your reputation suffers.

@@TheGreasyShopRag when a person wants to try something, I’ll touch the muffler showing it’s cold. I want it to be a true cold start. I want to be honest.

@@steveriggenbach90 Thats a good idea.
What is the part number on the air filter you removed off the carb please? Having a hard time searching this particular model. No in store information about this chain saw. Bought if off a neighbor and when you start it, it dies out when you depress the throttle trigger.

Echo flocked air filter A226001090. I'd be surprised if just replacing the air filter fixes your problem but maybe you have the rest of it covered already. Thanks for watching.

LOL! I strongly suspect that it WILL NOT.. its just I have searched for parts and I could not find the filter. I saw your video and the saw is exactly like the one in your video so I took the opportunity to ask about it. I really appreciate your kindness. The stalling part when you press the throttle trigger is a whole nother ball game in itself. I am by no means a repair man of any sort, just want to avoid costly repair if I can help it. I really appreciate your response and thanks for sharing the part number on the air filter. @@TheGreasyShopRag

@@wilsondevore6981 There are a lot of possible reason the saw bogs. Many of my videos walk through the process. Make sure the cylinder isn't scored, look at fuel for freshness and no water. Pressure test fuel line for holes. Open carb and inspect metering diaphragm and micro screen. You can also inspect the spark arrestor screen in the muffler for blockage. One of these is most likely the issue.

There is a lot of oil just flowing out ot ir even when its off. I started to take it apart and one of the two bolts that holds the chain bar in place fell into the oil tank..@@TheGreasyShopRag
