Storytelling in wrestling is more important than 5 star matches.

Funny punk said they were more interested in having 5 star matches than selling out the building. Then what gets called a 5 star match is ridiculous, lol. That’s why I can’t watch that crap anymore. So unbelievable

Yes I agree. A 5 star match really makes no sense for a half empty arena.

guys like edge ' matt and jeff are being done in by the style they made popular .

Ospreay is a world class athlete but he makes wrestling look very fake and chereographed.

well some of the modern wrestlers especially the AEW are copying guys like him and his brother Jeff just like ECW setting a bad example for the next generation of guys that's getting into the business

AEW threw the broken matt hardy character in the trash. Jericho buried him for no reason by dismissing him completely

First Matt is close to 50 if he's only in his 40s then he hasn't aged well because he doesn't look good in the ring anymore second the broken gimmick was and still is stupid nobody cares about it except for the 400 idiots in a TNA bingo hall the broken gimmick was a bust in AEW and it was a bigger bust in WWE thiird Matt is just spewing hate because Tony didn't push the Hardy Boys and rightfully so after Jeff got yet another dui he's lucky he didn't go to jail and Matt thinks he deserves a push?? And last 5 star matches are more important then storytelling even WWE sees importance in great matches storytelling is overrated you can have a terrible story but a great match and fans will eat it up you can have a great story but an awful match what goof does it do in the future when the match was a bust?? Nobody talks about the story behind Flair vs Steamboat but they all remember how great those matches were same with,Sting vs,Flair Omega vs Osperay etc

You id i ot. With Flair VS Steamboat, the matches WERE the story. It was about the series unfolding over their series of matches from the 70s to the 90s, but peaking with the 3 matches in 89. The story was the honorable family man Steamboat battling it out with the arrogant, cheating womanizer for the ultimate prize.
